Rich Merlino was very helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. There were some problems, but they were not caused by him, and he worked hard to make things right. When I arrived on the agreed-up pickup date/time, it wasn't ready. Rich M. had left a voicemail message at my home but I was at work and didn't get it. I had to return that evening to get the vehicle. Rich Merlino spent a lot of time with me going over the features of the vehicle, setting up my hands-free, explaining the GPS, etc. He made several follow-up calls to make sure I was satisfied with the car. The man who worked on financing was very efficient and got me a great car loan. When I brought the car back for the inspection sticker, they paid for me to have a free loaner car from Enterprise and gave me an extra free full tank of gas because of what had happened on the day I picked up the vehicle. Then we worked with Tom in the finance department who worked out great loan terms for us and made the finance process a breeze, which I know from experience can be the most difficult and stressful part of the car buying process. The sales department was knowledgeable and helpful when it came to purchasing a vehicle. The selection was wide for new cars, and there were several used cars to choose from as well. The finance department was able to work with me to get an APR lower than my credit union. The only thing I did not enjoy about this experience was the fact that the salespersons were unwilling to negotiate on the price of the used vehicle. However, my overall experience with Herb Chambers of Westborough was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this dealership to a friend. More
