On previous visits, I had good maintenance here. But I’m very disappointed in the durability and quality of the car’s components (December 2017 Civic, 21K easy miles). In this visit, as usual, I had the oil changed and tires rotated. But with low mileage, and one year out of 3-year warranty period, the car has developed problems with the rear suspension assembly leaking, and it needs new rear brakes. $750 plus tax! Why didn’t the front brakes wear out? I’ve owned two other cars (Toyota, Nissan) under the same driving habits and parking, but didn’t develop such problems until after 40K miles. Oh, and the pump motor came off the windshield washer fluid tank. I bought a Honda for its reputation as a reliable and durable car that has an infrequent need for major maintenance, at least until 36K miles. In my experience, the good reputation of Honda is undeserved. The attendant said she would call me back to see if they would get a better deal on the repair work, but after 12 days…No Call. These should be warranty repairs anyways. This is my last visit there. More
