After we had picked out a car on the lot, we asked about what my trade in, a 2002 Cadillac with 180,000 miles, would be worth towards the newer car, a 2005 Cadillac with 64,000 miles on it. The sales manager, I’m guessing, ran the Car Fax report on my car. It showed as a “Total loss vehicle” back in August of 2009. This was a full three years before I myself purchased the car from Sam Swope. They then basically refused to offer me anything for my trade in. I looked at the Car Fax report that they had printed out and handed to me and I also noticed it showed Sam Swope selling the same exact car six months after it had been declared a “Total loss vehicle” to another person and then later to me in September of 2012. So Sam Swope themselves sold a “Total loss vehicle” not once, but twice, to two different people after it had already be declared a total loss. I said how could that be? They replied, “That’s not our policy,” but couldn’t explain how it happened other than to say that particular entry could have been “Added later.” We came home as my new car was prepared and to make certain it would be properly insured before driving it off of the dealer’s lot and were advised by my wife’s son, also a car salesman with a different dealership, to contact the Kentucky Department of Motor Vehicles because, according to him, “Half the time Car Fax is wrong to begin with and besides, when I worked for Sam Swope, they were not allowed to re-sell a total loss vehicle.” So my wife contacted the DMV, gave them the VIN number of the so-called “Total loss vehicle,” and was told nowhere on my title or registration was my 2002 Cadillac listed as a “Total loss vehicle” and, if it was, it would have been “flagged,” and it wasn’t. We then returned to Sam Swope to finish the paperwork on my newer car. We told the salesman and others what we had discovered. We asked them if they determine a trade in value based upon official DMV government records, or inaccurate, third party, Car Fax reports. Apparently they go by inaccurate, third party, Car Fax reports. I only expected maybe $1000 for my old car. I was finally offered $630, $300 or so which would apply to the taxes they said. In closing, our sales person was very nice and did what was asked of him. However, the Sam Swope offer of $630 for my 2002 Cadillac based upon what we proved was false and inaccurate information, was far less than we had hoped for. More

My wife and I went to Honda World and requested Nick and we are glad we did. His passion for the brand he sells is evident by how detailed he was when introducing us to the CRV. He was deliberate and methodical when showing us the many features that came with our vehicle. He is also extremely knowledgeable of the vehicles he sells. Negotiations with him were what I consider fair. I will definitely request his help when we purchase our next Honda. More

Wouldn't go anywhere else I bought my Accord from Honda World back in 2008 and have been very pleased. So I sent my parents there when they needed a vehicle. This dealship, however, let me take my time, consider my opinions and gave me an opportunity to enjoy car shopping. Accomplished my end goal I went in with an idea, I had a 2014 Civic EX which I had bought brand new in 2014. I had a wild idea that since my credit score had improved substan I went in with an idea, I had a 2014 Civic EX which I had bought brand new in 2014. I had a wild idea that since my credit score had improved substantially since then that I could possibly trade in my 2014 and get the same model in the 2017 model year for less money. Well, long story short, Ryan helped me accomplish this task. Later on, I realized that I had forgotten some things in my old car when cleaning it out and transferring everything over. It was things such as a CD, cash, and some loose change. You know, some places would have just said tough luck, or they didn't find it. I contacted Ryan and asked him about it, and he took it upon himself to get everything I had forgotten and hold it for me until I had the opportunity to come back in and retrieve the items. I have had most services done to my car at this dealership for years, just never really bought from them. That said, i stuck with the service department because they always treated me well, and quite frankly went above and beyond to help me out. With this in mind I decided to give the sales side of things a try, and everything seemed to work out well for me. Honesty is a key thing for me, and this seemed to return a great and honest experience. For reference, my sales person was Ryan Anderson, and his manager also helped me out. His name was Richard (Manager), though unfortunately, at the time of this survey, his last name escapes me, for which I apologize. More
