I just recently moved back to Bellingham and will be establishing some history at Bellingham Honda. This is my second oil change here and have to say that the staff is very friendly and efficient. I app establishing some history at Bellingham Honda. This is my second oil change here and have to say that the staff is very friendly and efficient. I appreciate the discount that I missed from a few days ago. It makes a big difference. I will be setting up some much needed maintenance work to be done in the next couple days. More

This is the first time visiting Honda of Bellingham for service needed for my vehicle. The first thing you notice walking in is that they are following all the recommended COVID safety procedures. You can service needed for my vehicle. The first thing you notice walking in is that they are following all the recommended COVID safety procedures. You can even tell the employees are smiling behind their masks! Ryan P. was absolutely fantastic to work with. Friendly on the phone, took time to understand what I needed, and got me scheduled at a time that worked for me. The service was done in a timely manner. Ryan didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need, but did let me know what would be needed in the not-so-distant future. The best dealer experience I've ever had! Thank you Ryan! Brittany B. I purchased my CRV from this dealer 17 years ago and have had virtually all the service done here as well. On the whole, my experience has been a good one. I have noticed a clear effort over the last few yea had virtually all the service done here as well. On the whole, my experience has been a good one. I have noticed a clear effort over the last few years to emphasize good customer service and I have appreciated this. Recently, when I had a major problem come up just hours before embarking on a long road trip, they went the extra mile to enable us to make the trip. I do however have some frustrations with car problems encountered over the last year and the expense and difficulty in addressing them. A week before the above mentioned trip I had brought the car in for an oil change and check out, explaining that I was planning this trip. Nothing was found of concern. Hours before leaving, the starter failed. Fortunately, on very short notice, it was replaced. A day and a half into the trip, on I-5, traveling at freeway speed, the car suddenly decelerated and was intermittently unresponsive to the gas pedal. We limped into Redding, California and drove straight to the Honda dealership there. The problem was diagnosed as a failing Vtech valve assembly and fortunately, again on short notice, they were able to replace the part. The very next day, after stopping for gas in a small town, the clutch broke. A local garage was able to replace the master cylinder, again on short notice. During the remainder of the trip, the check engine light was coming on and off, requiring yet another service appointment. Earlier this year, while away on a weekend trip, one of the rear brakes failed with a sprung caliper. This was a recurrence of the same problem that had occurred a couple of years before. After spending a lot of money and feeling increasingly uncomfortable trusting this car I am left wondering if NW Honda could have been more helpful in preventing or addressing these problems and whether or not I would ever buy another Honda.
