16 months ago I purchased a 2012 Honda Civic toreplace a 2001 Honda Civic, and brought it in to the service department for its scheduled oil change. I know many of that department's staff from previous ple 2001 Honda Civic, and brought it in to the service department for its scheduled oil change. I know many of that department's staff from previous pleasant service appointments. Recently, my back and hips have been giving me some problems and it seemed to be time to upgrade to a more comfortable mid-size car. So I went upstairs and began the most pleasant car shopping experience I've had so far. Gloria Shirilla answered the call for an available salesperson. Even though I was "just checking my options", she listened to details of what I needed and why. Though much younger than I, she sympathized with the aches and pains of aging. Just to get an idea of the cost of trading in a 16-month old car, she got someone to evaluate the trade-in and showed me numbers. Gloria showed me every car I asked about and let me drive the Accord I was most interested in. She seemed to sense what I was looking for - minimal change and more comfort, but not to expensive due to my pay-off debt. Gloria was not at all pushy, did not use any high pressure sales tricks, did not pretend to be charming or my next best friend. She led me to a decision by asking me questions she knew I had but couldn't vocalize. While I rested, she researched the availability of a car with the options I needed and a price I could afford. We discussed the difference between buying and leasing - again with her asking me questions to determine my best fit. Then she let me leave!! Because I "had to sleep on it - people had told me to check out other cars." I called her about 4 hours later. Bottom line: I'm happy with Honda; I'm happy with Motorcars Honda service department; the car and deal Gloria had put together for me was just what I wanted and needed. I did not need to look further. Gloria Shirilla is the best salesperson ever! And I love my car!! ps. The accounting, finance, appraiser, and other sales persons were also friendly, businesslike, and helpful as well. More

We had been looking at cars for the past several weeks trying to decide both what we wanted and where we wanted to purchase a car. I did not feel pressured or ignored - which seemed to be the two options at other dealerships. When we arrived at the dealership today, Andrew was not in yet and another salesman happily arranged a car for us to test-drive while we waited. When Andrew arrived he told us about a car that had just arrived that was what we were looking for, and took us to see it. Buying a car always makes me feel stressed out - for some reason, worse than buying a house! Andrew was very understanding and made sure the process was as easy as possible. I am never confident that we have negotiated the best price for a car (which is why I gave Price a "4" rating above); however, I do feel fairly comfortable with the price and the terms we agreed upon in the end. I really like my new car so far and look forward to dealing with Motorcars Honda over the next several years. More
