Busy Honda dealership. Salesperson Jesse helped me with my purchase. Jesse did a fantastic job for me and I am very happy with the deal he put together for me. PROS: Best price based on current market conditions (MSRP + $1,390 including a few accessories for a 2022 Honda Civic—significantly less than other dealers I had spoken with); honored the online KBB Instant + $1,390 including a few accessories for a 2022 Honda Civic—significantly less than other dealers I had spoken with); honored the online KBB Instant Cash Offer for my trade-in; the Finance Managers who did my paperwork (Emmad and Arturo) were professional; issue with missing key blade was resolved in a courteous and timely manner by the Client Relations Manager (Gladys) and Parts Manager (Joel). CONS: Salesperson (Dulce) and Sales and Pre-Owned Acquisitions Managers (Jake and Bryan) need training in customer service. The initial deal structure had an artificially inflated lease payment which I immediately noticed but it still took them 24 hours to resolve this (after they attempted to do some double talk to get around it). They need more patience and courtesy when a customer has legitimate concerns and refrain from the “if you don’t want the car then someone else will buy it” mentality. You’re not doing the customer a favor—the customer is doing you a favor and can buy a car from any dealer. CONCLUSION: I got the 2022 Civic model and color I wanted at the best possible deal. All paperwork involving my new car and trade-in was processed with no issues. However, a lack of courtesy and sincere interest in resolving my concerns from the salesperson and managers resulted in the lower ratings for this dealership. A customer should not feel as if they have to pay a higher premium to receive exceptional customer service—it should be the standard. More
