Service I brought my 2011 Accord SE for service at 85k miles. Car runs and drives 100% perfect. Not repaired I purchased a car that had damage but the Carfax did not show as having been in an accident. Evidence of someone trying to repair the damage was clearcoat buffed off, rubbing compound drips and carpet pulled back near damage. I was told and in writing that they would repair this since I wouldn’t purchase the vehicle otherwise. I dropped it off for repair and was told it was ready a day later. Came to pick it up and although the damage looked better, the paint damage (scratches and missing clearcoat) and ripples in metal are still VERY apparent. I went to tell the service department and they were annoyed that I was bothering them. Sent me to find the salesman. I ouldn’t find him so I texted him what happened and left. Next I hear from the sales manager telling me that’s the best that can be done and I wasn’t “promised” perfect. Well if you want to use semantics, I wasn’t told it would still look like crap afterwards either. I feel like they are trying to take advantage of me because I am a woman and I do not know much about cars. I purchased a Honda because of the reliability and the reputation. I hope I didn’t make a mistake in who I purchased it from. My car needs to be fixed and fixed right. I would have never bought it with damage that was not to be repaired. More

When I brought in Honda CR-V for service, asked them to check out a rattling noise under the hood as well as fix the recall. While waiting for the repair, service advisor told me they ran out of parts needed for the recall. Why didn't they check this before I came in? They offered me a free rental. Next day called up as instructed to find out if car ready. Service department hung up on me while trying to figure out what advisor had my car since my previous advisor was off the following day. After calling back after the phone disconnect, rep said she found the advisor handling my car but she was busy and would call me back in ten minutes. An hour or so later, I had to call back since no one called me back. Told me my car was being washed and was almost ready. Came down to pick up car. Talked to advisor and I asked her why they diagnosed more than what I originally ask for when I brought in the car. She said that's the way they perform diagnostics. One list the original advisor had given me listed 5 or 6 different issues with an estimate of over $3,000! They identified the Alternator as bad but when I tested it at home afterwards, it seemed to be charging my battery just fine. Also on the list was the AC Condenser Fan not working but when checking out out at home afterwards, the fan not working was the other fan (radiator cooling fan). After paying the advisor for the repair, waited forever for someone to drive my car sitting in the parking lot (had to go back inside to ask the advisor who as TS taking so long. One of the office staff had to come outside to ask the lot girl to retrieve my car. She finished up with another car and talked to someone before finally getting my car. What a negative experience at HFM! More
