We also had positive experiences with Kimberly who helped us transfer our car insurance, and Luis the finance manager who walked us through every option, answered our questions, and helped us make a decision that was beneficial to us. Purchase of a new HONDA. On 28 June, my wife Vallory and I went to HONDA of Ft Myers to look at 2019 Hondas. We were interested in trading in our 2013 Honda Accord. We had s On 28 June, my wife Vallory and I went to HONDA of Ft Myers to look at 2019 Hondas. We were interested in trading in our 2013 Honda Accord. We had seen the new CR-V and wanted to look at those as well as the new Accords. Our salesperson, Maria Ycaza, met us as we entered the showroom. She had already arranged for us to see an Accord and a CR-V. As we test drove each vehicle, she answered all of our questions and was. a delight to work with. Personable and knowledgeable, Maria’s orientation was on us the entire time we spent together. She’s a good listener and as we began negotiating on the Accord, she asked me if it was “the right vehicle.” Turns out it wasn’t, My. wife loved driving the CR-V and I was definitely interested in it. Maria never changed her attitude, focused on us and closing the deal. Easily she is THE BEST salesperson I have met in my lifetime. Maria’s boss, J R, was equally impressive. They made the process of buying a new car actually enjoyable. When we had a problem getting the color we wanted, Maria was ready with alternatives and we adjusted without a problem. Deceptive business practices When buying a certified vehicle there’s a $2400 mark up that was never told to me when I asked about the price of the vehicle. Also kept asking about what my interest rate would be but never could get someone to give me a straight answer. They said based on my credit probably around 3.5 but then when sitting at the finance table the best they could do is 5.5. More
