Great car, great deal, terrible customer service We recently purchased a 2019 Honda Fit from Ft. Myers Honda. We had difficulty finding this model. We had looked at many dealerships and could not fin We recently purchased a 2019 Honda Fit from Ft. Myers Honda. We had difficulty finding this model. We had looked at many dealerships and could not find the one we wanted. We found a yellow Fit at the Venice dealership and they gave us a very good price. Drew 'Aoust from Ft. Myers Honda, offered to beat the price by $100 and that he MAY be able to get blue (our desired color), but he thought he could definitely get a silver one. We made arrangements to go in to Ft. Myers Honda and meet with Drew. When we arrived at the dealership, we were swarmed by salespeople and we said we were there to see Drew. We waited 10 minutes for him to arrive. When he did, he said 'Oh yeah, we're getting you that Fit. Have a seat." We sat and waited and waited. We had no idea if Drew was able to secure a blue fit or even what was going on. He walked by the desk once, but then disappeared again. We sat and waited for almost 15 minutes with no communication. We decided that we would wait no longer, so we walked out with every intention of going to Venice and buying the yellow fit from a dealership where the employees were pleasant, attentive, and helpful. After driving for 5 minutes, we received a text from Drew asking where we were. He said he had the blue fit arriving that evening. We responded that we felt that there was no communication and we did not feel respected. We didn't even know he had managed to secure the blue fit. He offered to take another $100 off the price, and we still said "No." He persisted and offered to take an additional $300 off the price. We couldn't resist this deal. We drove back and Drew was apologetic and said he would be getting the blue fit in that evening and we could pick it up the next day. We had already been to our credit union and had secured an auto loan and were coming in with a draft, so there was no need to deal with financing at the dealership. We had also agreed on the out the door price, so there was no need to "work a deal." When we arrived at the dealership, Drew pointed us in the direction of the back of the dealership to go see the car. It was being detailed. It was indeed a blue sport fit. (We had our doubts). We then proceeded to sit in the showroom and wait for TWO HOURS for some unknown reason. After 2 hours, we were finally called back to see Luis to sign all the papers. This took another 1/2 hour, due to the fact that we had to re-sign the paperwork because of another miscommunication between the sales and finance departments. We love the car and we received a very good price, but the entire process was frustrating and did not leave us feeling like valued customers. To that point, we will forego their offer of 2 free oil changes, and instead pay for them out of pocket at our dealership of choice. The most ironic thing was that both Drew and Luis implored us to leave them a good review. Sorry gentlemen, you need to EARN a good review. More
