Last time I’ll go to Honda dealership for service. I went to the dealership (where I always went for service) to check out why my starter was acting up. Hour and a half later, I’m notified that my star I went to the dealership (where I always went for service) to check out why my starter was acting up. Hour and a half later, I’m notified that my starter is faulty and it costs $900 TO REPLACE!!! Absolutely insane!! I looked online and the part (on the higher end) costs $300. I called another dealership who said they could do the service for $417 (with tax, fees), so I told the Honda service guy who brought the price down to $700. Still insane, but I went for it as I had no choice. Found out thousands of others with same make/model with same issue, but no response from Honda. Will not be buying another Honda and will not be going back for service due to overcharging for service. More
