Car troubles before potential hurricane I had a great experience. I came in on the Friday before Hurricane Dorian’s potential impacts as my car was having trouble starting. Not repaired I purchased a car that had damage but the Carfax did not show as having been in an accident. Evidence of someone trying to repair the damage was clear I purchased a car that had damage but the Carfax did not show as having been in an accident. Evidence of someone trying to repair the damage was clearcoat buffed off, rubbing compound drips and carpet pulled back near damage. I was told and in writing that they would repair this since I wouldn’t purchase the vehicle otherwise. I dropped it off for repair and was told it was ready a day later. Came to pick it up and although the damage looked better, the paint damage (scratches and missing clearcoat) and ripples in metal are still VERY apparent. I went to tell the service department and they were annoyed that I was bothering them. Sent me to find the salesman. I ouldn’t find him so I texted him what happened and left. Next I hear from the sales manager telling me that’s the best that can be done and I wasn’t “promised” perfect. Well if you want to use semantics, I wasn’t told it would still look like crap afterwards either. I feel like they are trying to take advantage of me because I am a woman and I do not know much about cars. I purchased a Honda because of the reliability and the reputation. I hope I didn’t make a mistake in who I purchased it from. My car needs to be fixed and fixed right. I would have never bought it with damage that was not to be repaired. More
