I DO NOT RECOMMEND HONDA OF HARVEY FOR SERVICE! ! They failed to diagnose the original problem that I brought my car in for and I got three different explanations from three different people as to w ! They failed to diagnose the original problem that I brought my car in for and I got three different explanations from three different people as to why. I still paid $2000 to have my AC compressor replaced, and the very next day it began spewing freon and making a horrible clunking sound, so I had to return the car for ANOTHER fix. This time for a problem they caused. I asked for a courtesy car, since I had been without a car for 10 days and was looking at another stretch without one, but they said none were available without so much as checking. I asked for regular updates on the progress of this SECOND repair when I dropped it off two business days ago and had to call them today to ask for an update. The woman who answered the phone knew nothing. So now it has been two weeks that I don't have a working vehicle because 1) they didn't fix or even diagnose the original problem and the collective service department couldn't agree on an explanation why, 2) the $2000 fix they did do wasn't a fix at all and ended in an eruption of freon and 3) the level of service has been sub-par at best and not once has anyone from the team tried to offer any kind of assistance or follow up about a courtesy car for my troubles while they clean up the mess they made of my AC. Not to mention, yet again, the original problem that I came to them for and no one can tell me why exactly they didn't bother trying to diagnose it. More
I am complaining about Honda at Harvey in Louisiana because of poor communication with the appointments team and service team. The service team informed me that they do not take appointments and that i because of poor communication with the appointments team and service team. The service team informed me that they do not take appointments and that it is first come, first serve and this was not relayed to me when I called the agent on the phone. I also requested a call back from Honda at Harvey and did not receive a call back after 1-2 weeks. I called 2-3x requesting a call back for simple information like duration of car service and cost but no one was able to assist me. I am requesting for improvements in service at this location. All Honda locations need to a take an effective communication course. More
Dealer shows a new 2023 Honda Pilot on their website. I inquired about the availability and they said they had it available and encouraged me to visit the lot. I requested pic and/or the window sticker, as neither was posted. Suddenly, they’re “working on it”. They responded 4 different times saying as such but won’t confirm availability. After inquiring since yesterday, every response is that they are “working on it” but still can’t tell me whether they have it in stock or not. Completely clueless and wasting my time - take your money to a more competent dealership! More
