Visited the dealership in response to a vehicle listed on their web site, only to be told that it was sold. The remaining inventory was priced much higher. After inquiring more extensively about the original their web site, only to be told that it was sold. The remaining inventory was priced much higher. After inquiring more extensively about the original vehicle, we were told that the vehicle was actually located in Virginia and that it was a regular dealership practice to show vehicles from multiple properties on their site. The only way to know is to look at the inventory number. This is classic bait and switch dishonesty and I will not do business with a company that will show such disrespect to their customers. I will also be contacting the Attorney General's office with my complaint. More
I decided to purchase a new CRV from this dealership. The car I wanted had to be brought from another dealership. I put down a deposit (Jason Miles charged more than he said he was going to - sneaky). The car I wanted had to be brought from another dealership. I put down a deposit (Jason Miles charged more than he said he was going to - sneaky). I wasn't too concerned about that at the time. When I got home and did the math on the pricing, I learned the he jacked up the price of car to back into a monthly payment. I countered the monthly payment and he "came down" on the price. In truth, I paid sticker value for the car and he swore that they were losing money (I know, no big shocker there, but I hate the lying). Jason was supposed to call me when my car was in. When he didn't call me, I called him and was told that my car was wrecked when they pulled it out of the other dealership and that he didn't know if he could get the color I wanted. (I knew this was not a true story and that he was trying to cover up a mistake that had been made.) This put a very bad taste in my mouth and I started searching for another car. After dealing with another manager (since Jason was off from work the next day), I was told that my car would be there in a week (it was supposed to be there the next day). I said that was fine, but I was looking into some other options and wanted to make sure that I could get my deposit back. Nick said that I could. I purchased a car from another dealership for much less. When I called Jason's manager Cecil to have my credit card refunded, I was told that I had to speak to Nick. Both refused to do anything. They said that I had a contract (which I didn't). I signed a piece of paper that they drew a line on. That is not a contract, as it states nothing. Jason called me twice and after I threatened to go into the busy showroom on a Saturday and pitch a fit, he agreed to refund my money. I went in and handed him my credit card. He sat there talking to his manager Cecil and Cecil approached me and pulled me into a private office and closed the door. He refused to refund my money and told me that he would have me arrested if I attempted to show up there and cause a scene. He also told me that he was in charge of that dealership, which I called him out on. He still denied it. I will hopefully end up getting my money back after dealing with the true manager of this dealership. He seems to have integrity. Unfortunately, he is the only one that I dealt with that does and that is truly sad. This is a warning to anyone considering this dealership. I saw the dealer ratings and this group is near the bottom for Honda dealers. Avoid them at all cost. It is worth it to drive to a more reputable dealership. I will never step foot in there again.
