My experience with this dealership reflects the Honda reputation of high value at reasonable, fair costs. We have purchased and serviced 2 Hondas here the past 5 yrs and the place is simply light years from the 2000 era when shopping for a CIVIC i encountered little interest from the salesforce, and was not offered a test drive despite my expressed interest in a Honda. Saturn at the time was enjoying a good reputation and I purchased a 2000 Sl2 Sedan, I still have. A good car, too but fit/finish not the same and lacked the great handling of the CIVICs. My 1980 Accord, 1991 Civic, 2009 Civic and 2010 CRV are among my best vehicles owned and I now at am a point that I am unlikely to view another brand but rather find the Honda that fits my budget. I would definitely start with this dealership. I just wish I could afford a Honda motorcycle, too...... More

I had the $21.98 a service coupon for express oil and filter change & Tire Rotation from their website good thru 3/15/2013. So the price was Great. I bought this 2008 Fit from Honda of Lisle because the 1993 Del Sol had 318K (serviced by these Guys) for the 15 years before. What kind of service is this? If this is the service you provide, I will not buy another car at your dealership. I have had my Pilot serviced only at your store and never have been impressed. I have 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Recently, its back door had problem to hold on when it was opened. I checked Honda web site and found Honda had recall for 2008/2009 Odyssey on EX-L, which is for the exactl had problem to hold on when it was opened. I checked Honda web site and found Honda had recall for 2008/2009 Odyssey on EX-L, which is for the exactly problem. But Lisle Dealership claimed my van's problem can't be covered by recall. They claimed the recall was about power door, even they agreed it was the exactly same problem. I was not happy that I had to pay $130 to get the exact problem fixed on the exact same model of the recall. The stuff in Lisle dealership took it very personal. I had waited for more than 40 minutes to pick up my van. When I tried to mention my case to their manager, he was extremely rude. I will report my case to Honda Corporation and will never go to Lisle Honda dealership for any service. More

IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of today, I regret to change my IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of today, I regret to change my ratings for Honda of Lisle after I found out that my last visit for a repair was not worth the IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of today, I regret to change my ratings for Honda of Lisle after I found out that my last visit for a repair was not worth the money and time. To be exact, the rattle problem was not solved; it is still there. Soon after I left Honda of Lisle, I moved to another area for school. And soon the rattle reappeared. So I went for another service at another Honda dealer, and the results they got for me is that the rattle is from a body creak, not just the rear shelf, and they cannot perform the fix since the scale of repair needed is more appropriate for an auto body shop. I asked for a recommended shop, and they gave me one. My point is, did Honda of Lisle not know this, and they just charged me for a temporary fix by just lubing the creaking areas? And told me that my problem has been fixed? If they couldn't have provided me an appropriate permanent fix, why didn't they suggest me to go somewhere that could? I am disappointed for being told that the problem has been solved, when truthfully, the real cause is still there. I really liked Honda of Lisle, but now I am sad to say that I'm not sure if I can still say the same. And since I moved out of the area, I'm not sure if I would drive all the way back to them again and have them fix my car to redeem their reputation. Maybe they have provided me the appropriate fix they thought to be, and I'm just not happy about it as a customer. But isn't that the whole point of this consumer-based review website? To give other consumers truthful and useful information so they can make sure that they will be happy for the money they pay? By no means my point of revising my review is to berate Honda of Lisle, I just wanted to point out what really happened, and be an honest reviewer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I went in for an inspection on my second-hand 2008 Accord coupe, which I bought for only a week from an out-of-state dealer, for a malfunctioning CD player and some rattle coming from the rear of the car. They figured out the problem with my CD player, gave me suggestions, gave me quotes on how much I'm looking at if I want it either repaired or replaced, and Carrie even shared with me how she would deal with the dealer if they are not willing to compensate for my CD player, which was helpful and really heart-warming! This is the main reason I'm giving them a high rating for my visit. Every customer would expect great service from their dealer, but when the staff is willing to give helpful personal opinion and suggestions, that's how a dealership can really catch the heart of their customers; showing that they care. The reason why I didn't give them a 5 point review on their quality of work is because they didn't really fix the rattle for the first time, and I had to stay longer for a second service. On the first inspection, there was a quick fix on clipping something back and tightening to fix the rattle, and there was no charge. The fee for the first service was on the diagnostic of my CD player. But right after I got into my car and about to leave the lot, I still hear the rattle, so I pulled right back and went for another service. This time, the road inspector gave a more thorough inspection and found out the source of the rattle and had it fixed. Although I was charged two separate times for two separate inspections (first charge for my CD player, and second charge for the rattle), they are willing to listen to me and really figure out what the problem was, and fix it. To me, that's what matters. Despite the wait and having paid two separate service fees, I am overall happy with their service and friendliness. I would recommend Honda of Lisle to any other potential customers. More

Car came in when promised, we went in on a weekday evening and were out in less than 2 hours. We had our toddler with us which could have made the process unbearable but they were very accommodating of him, helped keep him entertained, and moved very efficiently in light of his limited goodwill. After the oil change the guy went through the list for few minutes...all the good stuff, fluids are good, tires are good , your van has been vacuumed and we did a complimentary wash....blah..blah.....at the end oh.....one more thing..... you need to take care of your air filter housing, it is broken. When I opened the hood, I can tell.....someone while struggling with rusted screw broke the housing from the edge, and it is screaming fresh....... I was sure it was not there before....I told the guy, I can understand, it could have been accidental, technician did not mean to break it, I am ready to bear the brunt, but at least as a customer I should be told the fact. One more thing ! when i looked at the dust van, I said to myself did they really washed it, I heard him saying...! sorry we did not wash it we can wash it now ! similar thing happened on last visit, I asked them to change the wiper blades during oil change. Drove few miles out of dealership, turned on wiper......broken rubber hanging in there on windshield.....drove back....and was told we can do it now ! More
