My experience at Honda of Manhasset on Saturday was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I arrived around 10:30 AM only for a routine maintenance service on my 2018 Honda Pilot. While waiting, extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I arrived around 10:30 AM only for a routine maintenance service on my 2018 Honda Pilot. While waiting, the sales department approached me saying they could “lower my interest rate.” Naturally, I understood this as lowering my APR and therefore lowering my monthly payment for the remaining term. Instead, this turned into an attempt to push me into leasing a new vehicle. Even though I clearly told the salesperson from the beginning that I had an important appointment with my kids at 4:00 PM, I ended up trapped at the dealership for hours. By 12:30–1:00 PM, they presented me with a lease offer that was initially much higher than what I pay now. After going back and forth, they adjusted it and I accepted. By around 2:00 PM, I had already provided all my documents, returned my keys, and moved my personal items out of my old vehicle. The new car was ready — but the credit approval was not. They made me wait for almost four more hours, claiming the bank wasn’t responding. I repeatedly asked about the time because of my kids, but nothing was done. Around 6:00 PM, I was so upset I almost walked out and canceled everything. To make things worse: The salesperson gave me incorrect information, telling me the 2025 Pilot EX-L had a sunroof (it does not). When I finally sat down with the finance manager, he tried to add nearly $5,000 in taxes and fees that were never part of the agreement. They only offered me tire protection “for free” after I expressed how upset I was — but that doesn’t recover the time I lost with my children. The entire process showed a lack of transparency, poor communication, misinformation, and complete disregard for the customer’s time. It turned what should have been an exciting experience into an extremely stressful and disappointing one. I do not recommend Honda of Manhasset, and I will not be returning to renew the lease, maybe I will find anotger dealer because I love the brand More

Service was great but the wait and time took over three hours. Also, the fan for the heat is not working and now there’s a notice “low battery “. Love speaking ill of the former owners I just want to say that the new ownership of the Honda dealership and service department is so beyond what it used to be. I’ve gone once or twice before that I have a g that the new ownership of the Honda dealership and service department is so beyond what it used to be. I’ve gone once or twice before that I have a good experience and I’ve gone a couple of times under the new owners, and I found it to be a wonderfully Good experience. They were helpful, knowledgeable, up-to-date on what I needed explained everything to me and extremely helpful in waiting when I have to wait. Very very pleased I was certainly recommended. More
