Overall my experience with the purchase was fine. I dealt with Joe Sheridan back in the fall when I was looking and again for the actual purchase. Although I don’t think favorably of the whole car purchasing process and the culture it creates, I didn’t feel pressured, and never felt worked at any time. This was also true back in the fall. Lisa Madiara was the bright spot out of the process. Without her initial online quote I would not have shown up to test drive the vehicle. She also took the time to speak to my family and after the purchase went the extra mile to bring me an item left in my trade-in. I do have some criticism. Upon picking up the vehicle it was suggested that we were expected an hour later instead of the time agreed to. Waiting for the car was not a problem but the car wasn’t as clean as I expected and once home required additional cleaning. In fact there were two spots on one speaker that I couldn’t remove. Obviously not dirt so I’ve concluded these are permanent scrapes. I was also asked to sign a document that indicated the car had 10 miles on it, however, upon pick-up learned that the car actually had 47 miles. Upon driving out of Princeton Honda I also noticed the steering wheel was not nearly close to being balanced and centered. Overall the sales and negotiating was fine but the car itself left me feeling like I’ve just purchased a dirty used vehicle. More
Steve was very friendly and easy going. He did not pressure my husband and I. He was honest which made us feel safe and comfortable. A very down to earth guy. I will send business his way. About four years ago I went to another dealership looking to purchase a new car and I almost got swindled. Luckily, my neighbor reccomended Honda of Princeton and Gary Kafitin to me. I am glad to say that both in 2012 and in 2008 everyone at Honda of Princeton gave me an experience that was way above and beyond better than the first dealership. Gary Kafitin and Jonathan Dorf, not to mention Evan Perreault, are who I worked with and they all deserve ratingings much higher than a five. They stayed late to finish paperwok when I couldn't come in earlier in the evening, they were accomadating and patient when I wanted to make changes to things even after most dealerships would have said it was to late to change your mind, they were friendly and always made time to answer any questions I had, they made sure I got the best financing for my FIT in 2008 and I got an even better price in 2012(the same model,newer year). Even the service center is excellent. With my 2008 car, they did a great job fixing the tires and gave me a great price when I hit a pothole one week after I bought the car. With my 2012 car, they did an fantastic job putting on the accessories. I would and have recommended this dealership to anyone I know who is looking for another car - new or used. More
I contacted dealership via Internet, received a response within the hour. Sales associate offered to run my credit, which I knew was not the greatest and let the associate know. he responded that's ok an within the hour. I than received a call from Steve Hoffman, which notified my that the car we were interested in was being looked at by another customer. He also notified me of my options, due to my credit, of how we can finance. I let him know that I was looking at other dealerships and would call him back if I was still interested. He was understanding and did not harass me to visit his dealership. After a couple of hours shopping around and not happy with inventory and or service, I went to Honda of Princeton. I was helped immediately and to my surprise the vehicle I was interested was sold. Steve was apologetic and offered to show what else they had in inventory. He spent about three hours between test driving vehicles and answering our questions. He was very patient. The particular vehicle we were interested in did not qualify for financing. Still patience he offered other avenues for financing. The time now was after 7:00 pm, which my bank was closed. Steve said no problem and let me now what to do. The following day I went to my bank and received a loan. Immediately I called Steve and let him know. Just on my word of loan approval and without a deposit he put the vehicle to the side for me. I had to work and could not return back to the dealership till the following day. Finally made it back to the dealership and finalized the sale. The car was detailed and ready to go. Not once did I feel pressure into buying. After comparing prices on similar vehicles by dealers and buy owner, the sale price was very reasonable. More
The reason I am writing this review is simple. I have been buying or leasing Hondas from Brian Watkinson at Honda of Princeton for over 10 years. This time period covers 4 different Honda Accords. He i been buying or leasing Hondas from Brian Watkinson at Honda of Princeton for over 10 years. This time period covers 4 different Honda Accords. He is extremely professional and actually fun to deal with during this normally aggravating process. Brian helped me find the car and color that I wanted that was not on their lot and in a few days i was driving away in my brand new 2012 Accord SE. I would strongly reccomend Brian and Honda of Princeton to any of my friends, family members, or anyone else looking for an enjoyable car buying experience. More

The process of purchasing a new car is not an easy decision nor is it an easy process. At Honda of Princeton, however, the process was made easy thanks to Lisa and Zack's knowledge and courteousy. I purchased my first Honda on Tuesday April 24th and it was by far the easiest, fastest and most enjoyable car shoping experince I've ever had. The two reperesntatives were both very smart and knowledgeable about the product and services I was about to purchase, answsered all my questions/concerns I had concerning such a big purchase and in the end gave me piece of mind and the price I was looking for. Princeton of Honda, as well as Honda in general, should be proud to have two wonderful employees like Chay Jenkins and Sean Lipschultz working for their team! More
