I trust Honda of Sarasota to service our 2020 Honda Pilot professionally and believe Darin Meyer does an excellent job in representing the dealership. Very happy with him. What I'm not happy about is the application of a credit card fee that is added to my bill. This is not explained up front and should be absorbed by the dealership as a cost of doing business. In addition, having the windshield replacement come-on every time I visit Honda of Sarasota is annoying and is a scam. It doesn't reflect well on the dealership. More
This purchase makes my third business deal with this dealership. The first 2 went well. This third one… not so much. I went in as a woman on my own and they tried to take some serious advantage of me, n dealership. The first 2 went well. This third one… not so much. I went in as a woman on my own and they tried to take some serious advantage of me, not knowing that I know how car deals go. Even after I told them this would be my third car deal with them. They tried charging me 600 for window tint and 600 for floor mats WHICH WAS ALREADY INCLUDED IN THE “black edition” pilot. Took me forever to get them to take those charges off. The sticker price is the price of everything in the car. You don’t tack things on like that. After being there for 2 hours, my anxiety was through the roof as the sales manager was high pressure. They didn’t even give me my keys to my trade back til I asked to leave as I was uncomfortable, and was told “well we won’t hold you hostage” well no xxxx… but that was their tactic. Now, did I do the deal? Yes. The car was exactly what I wanted. Do I still like the dealership overall? Yes. They price their cars competitively. I’ll go back when it’s time for a new one. All the guys were nice overall. Even the sales guys that weren’t working with me greeted me. More

Also, we were told multiple times that we would get 2 complimentary services in 2 years. I just received an email that stated we get one. Another factor in my lack of trust with this particular dealership. Seems like they say one thing and the actual differs. Dishod was pleasant, professional and attentive. However, the sales people have very little to do with the overall transaction. Could use improvement from management through to the finance process. I have purchased many cars over the years, and a couple through this dealership's previous owner. Those experiences were so much better. More
