Fantastic experience working with Christian and Louis. I have been looking for a reputable dealer to work with as I searched for a Honda Ridgeline. I had been to 5 other dealers and was getting frustrated I have been looking for a reputable dealer to work with as I searched for a Honda Ridgeline. I had been to 5 other dealers and was getting frustrated at all of the typical shady stuff you generally hear about dealers. Once I connected with Christian it was an absolute joy working with him. Also, the manager, Louis was able to work with me and did everything in his power to get the vehicle I needed in the timeframe I needed. Stellar work from both of them. I am extremely satisfied with the vehicle and the overall experience working with Greenwich Honda! More
Terrible business The absolute customer service experience that I’ve ever had, period. During contracts and negotiations, everyone was nice and accommodating. But once they got my money and once I swiped my card for a down payment, it was all downhill. I was told that my car was ready to be picked up during a snowstorm and the lady on the phone didn’t understand why I didn’t want to come in the snowstorm to pick up my car. When I went to pick it up the next day, it took 3 hours even though I had already signed all of the paperwork days prior. Of course, they told me that the price went up in the few days due to “credit reasons” and they tried to sell me on everything and everything, and whenever I said no, they’d give me a million reasons why I should add meaningless stuff on even though I kept saying no. Not to even mention, no one helped me shovel my car out or even offered to wipe it off for me. The car wash I was promised before I picked up my car clearly didn’t happen either and the car had a quarter of a tank of gas. I was having mechanical issues with my vehicle, and I thought I was safe under CT Lemon Laws (which according to the law I was). I took my vehicle to a different dealer to have it inspected because I wanted an unbiased opinion on the car. They told me my control arm bushings were shot and needed to be replaced. I took the car to Mavis, where I have gone for years, and they told me the same thing. Of course, Greenwich Honda didn’t see this issue because they didn’t feel like paying for it since Chris, the sales manager, told me that he already didn’t make any money on the car (which is a lie because I paid over the KBB value for it, plus purchased a few add-ons) and couldn’t spend more to fix it. Not my problem. They rebalanced the weights in the wheels (which were brand new and didn’t need rebalancing) after 4 hours of me waiting there. They told me to bring it back if I had any issues and when I called back to complain that I was still having the same issues, Don the service manager literally told me that I was wasting my time and his and there was nothing he could do. I purchased a Honda Care service contract for my car for $2,500 to cover three years. My contact came in the mail and apparent expired in 10 months. When I called Greenwich Honda to ask about this, I got transferred a hundred times before I got to speak with the lady that sold me the car, Raquel. Raquel told me that because I purchased a used car that wasn’t a Honda, they could only give me 1 year for the Honda Care. Of course, when I was signing the contract and paying my down payment this was never mentioned. I called Honda Corporate to complain and they gave me a full refund on my Honda Care contract (which Raquel said could not be done). They also mentioned that they would investigate this dealership as I was not the first case of this issue at this location. When I asked how much the tire and wheel coverage would be, she said only $4 extra a month (60 months). When the contract was presented to me, the price for that coverage was $950 (almost $15 a month for 60 months) which is almost $700 more than she said it would be. She could not explain this price difference of course. This dealer is full of liars and crooks, from Chris to Don to Raquel. I asked for a copy of my contract to be mailed to me and I never got it. Any time I call and ask to speak to someone, its their day off, they are on a lunch break, or they left the office 5 minutes ago. I have owned my car two months and have visited Greenwich Honda due to car or contract issues more than I have visited gas stations. I have spent more on Ubers than I have on gas and have been late for work countless days due to appointments running much longer than promised. My family members have had terrible experiences also, if I didn’t fall in love with the car (which is a Nissan) I wouldn’t have even stepped foot in here. Terrible experience, terrible place, terrible staff, and I have already been in contact with the Better Business Bureau about my experience (who tell me that I am not the only one with a complaint about this dealer). I do not even want to be contacted by anyone affiliated with this dealership or with Honda because nothing car reconcile the awful experience I had. Chris also asked me several times to write a review for him (before he even took care of my issues and complaints) and copy and paste it to other sites, which is why I am writing this one. More
