First visit to Honda of Toms River for service. I was very pleased with my first and it will not be my last. The service department was very frendly and helpful. I came. In for regular maintenance and an oil change, I was told that they had a special on the oil change price which was great to hear. The waiting room was very comfortable with free coffee. The time I spent waiting was satisfactory. I have always used Honda service before and since I am new to this area I was happy to find the same great service that I had at my previous location. Toms River Honda (TRH) is situated locally to my hometown and therefore very convenient. I recently tried to schedule an oil change at an out of town and out of county dealership where I work, but ultimately and therefore very convenient. I recently tried to schedule an oil change at an out of town and out of county dealership where I work, but ultimately had the work done at TRH, as the wait time for a service appointment at the other dealership was a full 5 weeks (ouch!); whereas TRH was not experiencing such a delay. In all fairness to the other dealership - I honestly don’t know what the holdup was, which no doubt was justifiable from their unique perspective, business model or Covid related labor shortages; but from my singularly focused goal to have my vehicle serviced sooner, TRH was clearly the better choice at this time. Thanks TRH! More
