I came in to look at the black 2006 f250 diesel truck that is for sale and really liked the truck originally. During the test drive I asked the sales man who was working with me, he was very nice through the entire experience, if the price was negotiable and he said yes of course. When we got back to his office and he talked to his manager the manager made him come back with a different story that the sales prices are non negotiable even though I already knew the truck was on the lot over 3 months at that point, so my friend and I left. As we were leaving the sales manager ran out to the car and said he could do $850 off and proceeded to argue with me that they were giving me a discount already because they dropped the price from $21000 to $17500 already and I informed him that that was long before I got there that they dropped the price and that I wasn’t paying $17500 for the truck and I left. When I got home he messaged me and this time he was truly open to negotiating and we agreed on a price. Purchasing the vehicle was smooth afterwards which is to be expected. I bought the 2 day purchase cancelation so I could have the vehicle looked at by a diesel mechanic to see that nothing was wrong internally that I couldn’t see. He came back with a list of major mechanical issues to include the head gasket was blown, the rear end had metal shavings in it and would be blown out within 6 months, and that the shocks(after market lift kit) had a blown seal. Total for repairs would be $8000 or so. I took the truck back to the dealership to return it and they took it back and told me they would likely put the truck up for auction because of the problems, which is typical, and I let them keep the print off from the mechanic shop. They informed me that the check from the bank would was cancelled and they would get me a check for the cash amount I gave them and insisted there was no other way to pay me back. I talked to navy federal and the check had already been cleared so I talked to the finance manager,Fernando, and he said they can’t do anything about that until they receive the money from The bank despite already being paid by them according to the bank. Long story short my calls were dodged by Fernando for 2 weeks and I left multiple voicemails with no response and had the same response from Carmen at Subaru el Calhoun. It took me over 3 weeks to get my money back on a truck I had for less than 48 hours. This kept me from being able to buy another vehicle because my credit was tied up with their loan and they had all of the money I was using as down payment for a truck, not to mention the interest I accrued daily on the loan because they insisted on waiting to pay my back back. When I finally came to get my money back I saw that the truck was for sale again with no repairs being made to the truck despite knowing what is wrong with it and how big the problems to the vehicle are which really disgusts me that a gmc dealership would do such a thing. I drive ss and my whole family loves gm and it really disappoints me to have such a bad experience from a General Motors branded company.

When a client leaves their vehicle for service we work in the service during our daily schedules so that it is completed by the end of the day. So because I cannot sit there because I had work you get to my car whenever you can? I sign up for an appointment for a reason and expect my car to be serviced in a timely manner from that appointment time. 7+ hours is not acceptable regardless of people coming in for express services.
