Worst service experience ever! I scheduled service, brought my van in on time, Tuesday morning. Thursday afternoon, after hearing nothing from service, I called for status. Service manager said no one has had a chance to even look at it yet. I asked then why did I schedule and bring it in? Why not schedule when mechanics are available? Manager said Hoover doesn’t schedule like that - they need your car left for 2-4 days before they can even look at it! Apart from their absurd scheduling, it would have been nice to get a call. I specifically set up scheduled drop off with service manager so my car would be done by holiday weekend. Holiday starts tomorrow, and no one has even looked at it yet. In all my years, I’ve never had a worse service experience. What is the point of scheduling and taking my car if you have no clue when someone will look at the vehicle? More
Tony was my sales rep during my visit. I went to Hoover to trade in my vehicle and purchase another vehicle that was on the lot. Hands down, one of the best car buying experiences I have e I went to Hoover to trade in my vehicle and purchase another vehicle that was on the lot. Hands down, one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I never felt pressured to look at something I wasn't interested in and Tony along with the sales manager were very patient with assisting me with finding a suitable vehicle. Ultimately, I ended up leaving the dealership purchasing the vehicle I sought out. What's even more fascinating is that I went to several other dealerships with the intent to purchase and I got the runaround. Others flat out steered me in the direction of Brand New vehicles when I wasn't interested in purchasing a New vehicle. In just a few hours at Hoover, I was able to have my trade-in appraised while also leaving in the vehicle of my choice. Hoover also gave top dollar for my trade. I highly recommend Hoover for your next vehicle purchase whether, new or pre-owned. More
