I'm crestfallen. I've used Hopkins Acura since I moved to the Bay Area in 2011. I have always written glowing reviews over the years. Terry Clark was an amazing custo I've used Hopkins Acura since I moved to the Bay Area in 2011. I have always written glowing reviews over the years. Terry Clark was an amazing customer service representative. Terry always gave it to me straight. I felt taken care of. I felt special. Terry Clark serviced my 2001 CL TypeS and my 2003 CL-Type S. He's the reason I bought my 2007 TL- Type S from Hopkins Acura. I trusted Terry implicitly. It's odd how all those years of regular visits mean so little to the current representative named Frankie. Terry Clark is not at Hopkins currently. I've dealt with Frankie for more than a year under Terry's watchful eye. I'm assuming with Terry gone he considered me an easy target. I needed another key made for my car. He disappeared for awhile and when he returned from the parts area, he mournfully advised me it would be more than $800. I could tell in his body language and the way he was talking to me something wasn't right. Something was amiss. You can feel the air go out of the room. $800 seemed like a high price. I called AutoNation on Stevens Creek and asked for the parts department. They told me the key was $199. There's a charge of $140 for programming. That's a difference of $450-$500 when all is said and done. It's Christmas time. Ugh. Made me feel like I was being taken advantage of. Such a horrible feeling when you've come to trust and believe in an organization. I wanted to talk to Frankie so I could ask him questions. I want to give Hopkins an opportunity to explain. Could just be a misunderstanding? Who knows unless I try? Right? Well, I did. I initially called him back that same day to let him know I would be cancelling my appointment. He laughed me off. Acted like it was no big deal. My call lost signal and I tried calling back. I have left two messages with a female receptionist and he never returned my calls. I am assuming that is my answer. That day I had brought a box of donuts from Chuck's Donuts in RWC. I wanted to share something with the guys since it is Christmas and they have taken such good care of my baby over the years. To think of how he acted sorry that it was $800, makes me feel foolish. My face blushes and burns hot from the embarrassment of being taken by someone I considered a friend. Saddened. More
Service people get commission on services. So they push things that your car doesn't need at the time. Service people are not honest and tell you upfront that their warranties are as good as y So they push things that your car doesn't need at the time. Service people are not honest and tell you upfront that their warranties are as good as your miles, they try to find any conceivable excuse not to honor their parts. Bought tires and they said they don't warrant their tires if something goes wrong you need to go directly to the company. That sucks because if I knew that I would had bought my tires at Costco or any other tire company that guarantee the product. Their are not sympathetic about the situation and you feel they are laughing in your face. Too bad I already spent like $10,000 in services there. More

Great service and very friendly I brought my car in for new tires. They gave me a great deal, price matched other competitors. They also offered a Uber to and from office. Best experience I have had with Hopkins I had a terrible sales experience with Hopkins where I walked out and purchased my Acura elsewhere. I dreaded going back for a warranty item, I was p I had a terrible sales experience with Hopkins where I walked out and purchased my Acura elsewhere. I dreaded going back for a warranty item, I was pleasantly surprised with Kah he was friendly, helpful, went to bat for me on a warranty item. Got me an Uber and followed up with me. Hopkins May have won back a customer. More
Warranty service I have used this dealership for service for decades. They used to drive my car around so I just got in and drove away. Now they walk me through the se I have used this dealership for service for decades. They used to drive my car around so I just got in and drove away. Now they walk me through the service area outback where they keep all the cars and take me past several cars to where mine is parked. Not sure who changed this , but not cool since I walk with a cane. This is done even in pouring rain. Will use another dealer for service even though I will have to drive further. More

Excellent service We bought our car from Hopkins Acura 11 years ago and my wife and I decided for the first time ever to use the dealership for service under warranty a We bought our car from Hopkins Acura 11 years ago and my wife and I decided for the first time ever to use the dealership for service under warranty and beyond. I can tell you we were never disappointed! The car was delivered on time or before in tip top shape, washed and ready to go. Most importantly though it was the quality of work that never brought us back to correct the initial problem. Actually we didn’t have any problems, only the regular maintenance plus two windshields! Thank you Hopkins Acura for running a first class operation! Bravo More
