Went to finance a car earlier this month. Was looking at a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee listed about $15,000. Instead the guy brought me a passat with a heavily damaged windshield, no rearview mirror, and severley rusted rotors! The rust was so thick i could wipe chunks off with my hand. This vehicle was so unsafe i was afraid to even test drive it! They told me I didnt qualify for the Jeep and thats all they could offer with no repairs. I got a lettet later on stating i didnt get financing cause i didnt meet the age requirement. I am 41 yeats old! I felt discriminated against and so humiliated. So glad i went to another dealer and got an amazing car and qualified for 16,800 in financing( cause they got my info correct!!) and got treated like royalty. Do not go here I was in tears when i left! Never again! More

Please take a mechanic with you if you are buying a used car from this place. Almost a year ago I purchased a Buick from Hove Nissan/Buick. I had sa it advertised on Carfax and other car sites and it looked car from this place. Almost a year ago I purchased a Buick from Hove Nissan/Buick. I had sa it advertised on Carfax and other car sites and it looked good in photos and the specs xxx a used car were great. It was A 1 owner vehicle . It was advertised as a cream puff. I followed this car for over a week on different sites hoping for a price reduction and it never came. So, 1 early Monday morning I drive 50 plus miles from my home in Chicago to see this car. When I get to the dealer it wasn't on the lot or any where else to be found . The salesman and sales manager finally say that they had loaned it ti a customer for the weekend while he got an oil change and that the car would be back in 2 days. I went shopping elsewhere for a car and then 5 hours later Hove Nissan/Buick calls to say that the car is back. I rush back from the city to look as this car . As the salesman drives it out of the garage it glowed and look really nice. I popped the hood and just looked at it and it looked dirty and not detailed or prepped for sales (Most dealers will at least clean the engine bay to make the car more attractive) I noticed right away that the oil filter did not look new and was dusty looking. I overlooked that TEST DROVE IT FOR 25 MINUTES and it drove a rode very nice , except the power drivers seat was stuck in 1 positioned . i ASKE THAT THEY RECITY THAT AND THEY first said they could not and I said I could not purchase it that way so the fixed it. 25 days later I just happen to check the oil as and found that it was really almost none in the engine. I rushed to the nearest fast oil change location to get this car lubed. I did just in time , before the motor would cease. I call the dealer and they said that they had changed it before they sold it . That was a EF'ing lie. The worst thing about buying this car from Hove nissan is that they were stern and not willing to budge not even a penny in the advertised price, which happen to be a pandemic , overccharged mark-up price. They acted if this car was just trhe best example of a used car in the whole wide world and it was far from it. I have had problems that needed to be fixed but I was able to do it rather cheaply compared to what the service shop would charge. I guess I am mostly responsible for this not so wise purchase because i rushed it because I needed a car right away. I am resonsible to because I purchased a car that had nearly 100 k miles on it(It was advertised with 98k but when i WENT TO TEST DRIVE IT WAS 100k AND THEY DID NOT GIVE A REDUCTION ALLOWANCE FOR THE OVBER MILAGE) I did not bother taking the car back for warranty because I was able to catch the major LOW OIL problem before it became catastrophic. The car looked better than it actually was, I have got t in tip top shape though , but for the money I apid for it it should have been perfect I would not ever buy a car from HOVE NISSAN /BUICK EVER AGAIN IN LIFE AND HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU STEER CLEAR OF THAT DEALERSHIP More

Seth was the backbone of most of the failure, but even when he ran my credit 2 diffrent times, which were spider webbed out to way more creditors than need, he was still unable to get me in anything even with decent credit and $1000 down. Will never be back there and would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want your credit to go to waste and lots of time. I'd give it 0 if i could. More

Great post-sale experience Never had a plan to buy a Nissan; however, I did it. We have purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Hove Nissan; the American Express / TrueCar purchase p Never had a plan to buy a Nissan; however, I did it. We have purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Hove Nissan; the American Express / TrueCar purchase program brought me there. It was a good deal for its price and mileage. Unfortunately, the next day problem arose, at the same time when the arctic vortex hits the Chicagoland. The car was driveable, but the SES light came up. Well, it happens. I've contacted Hove Nissan; I dealt with Seth Garrett, he was our sales person. Mr. Garrett took immediate action to resolve the issue; it was a pleasure to deal with him. He invited me to revisit Hove Nissan, so I did. They have provided excellent customer service. The car was inspected, the ECU errors were taken care of, and the car had no problems since then. I also want to underline the fact that Hove Nissan has provided me with a loaner car, so I was able to get back to my business almost immediately. I sincerely appreciate that. Despite the distance (I had to drive about 80 miles, but this car was a rare one), I definitely will have them on my shopping route for the next vehicle. The sales process was enjoyable as well, no pressure nor other sales gimmicks. I firmly recommend Hove Nissan to anyone, you can trust them. As a side note: the more the distance from Chicago is, the better the dealerships are. More

I did not land on the exact car I had thought about before I walked in, he gave me options I hadn't considered and among those we found an amazing used car that exceeded my expectations. I was concerned that the financing was going to be drawn out and end in with rediculously high payments. Terry in finance was quick, thorough and kind. My less than perfect credit was no hindrance to Hove Nissan making a good deal for me, leaving me completely satisfied and wondering how soon I could recommend them to friends and family. More

They make sure that your questions are answered and are prepared to give you the best deal possible. My family have purchased numerous vehicles from this dealer and they make sure that you are happy with your purchase. Don't make the mistake of dealing with an over-powering salesman, go to Hove.
