My review is for the service center. the great game of waiting. i purchases a certified used mazda cx-9 in september 2019. brought car into the service center in feb 2020 for my first the great game of waiting. i purchases a certified used mazda cx-9 in september 2019. brought car into the service center in feb 2020 for my first maintenance. When you walk in, you wait.... and wait. once i got a service advisor, i explained there was an issue with the drivers side seat motor. he said he would investigate and call back in a couple hours. here i am again... waiting. 5 HOURS later that call to tell me the motor is defective. i already knew that. they said they needed to order the part (original dropoff day was thursday) i came by to pick up the courtesy car. i was super thankful they let us use a car while we waited 4 days for the part. well 4 days turned into 6. part came the next Wednesday. and they didnt fix my car til friday. i let them know i was going to be out of town so i needed it thursday. since it wasnt done, i came by the next monday when i got back into town to pickup the car. my car had been in the shop for 1 week and 3 days. pickup was ok. but when i got home, the battery died. so here i am ... waiting... for someone to come jump my car. keeping a car for over a week, they should have charged the battery. or at least checked when i left the shop??? i am overall disappointed with their service department. i would love for someone to change my mind on this. More

Great dealership My wife decided she wanted a CX-3 but it was the end of the 2019 model year. Broken windshield wipers from carwash After leaving the carwash with my wipers tweaked and broken, I drove to the dealer unannounced to see if they could be fixed. Fredy Campos came out, fixed them and replaced my blades for me. It was such a relief. I was anticipating an all-day ordeal and an expensive fix. Fredy has been my service man before, and he has always been wonderful. I am so impressed with the Mazda dealership on every level. And, I love my Mazda! Best car ever! More
Should have went here first! We got Costco pricing for a vehicle and HB Mazda was the dealership that we were referred to. My initial visit was with Ozzy and he was very helpful. I was originally looking for a Mazda3 but determined that the backseat was too small for my needs so now I was opening up my car search to numerous other makes/models. Bottom line is I ended up going to various other dealers closer to my house to look at these other cars. During my visits I ended up at Browning Mazda at the Cerritos Auto Square. I also posted a review for them as that experience was TERRIBLE! After walking out of the Cerritos Mazda, we headed to HB Mazda where Joe Balisalisa and Ozzy got us in to the car we wanted. The process was enjoyable from start to finish. Upon completion of the sale, they walked us through all the features of the vehicle and assisted getting my phone connected to use the Android Auto capabilities. We ran into a few glitches during the setup and it was getting late, but they stayed with me and made sure it was working before I left. Everyone we met at HB Mazda was pleasant and the overall experience was great! Gary We have long avoided Cerritos Auto Square (CAS) dealerships. We've visited various dealers at CAS over the years and always left angry. This time was no exception. Ronnie was great while we were looking at vehicles, but as soon as it gets turned over to the manager for the sale it becomes insulting. I had told Ronnie that I had Costco pricing and was just looking at a couple of models to gauge the size of the back seat for passengers. I was not interested in purchasing as I would be returning to the other dealer for the purchase. He was very pleasant and helped me out and asked numerous times if he could have the opportunity to beat the Costco pricing. I agreed to return that weekend to give him a chance. When I returned that weekend I told him what the number I had from Costco and what I needed from them as a monthly payment to make the sale. I had a trade in also, so I lowered the Costco monthly payment by $10 and gave them that as a target. All they needed to do was lower the cost of the vehicle a little below the costco price and/or give me a little more for the trade in to meet my request. Instead they returned with a cost which provided a monthly payment $100 MORE than my Costco prising. Apparently this was their idea of negotiating. I found it fairly insulting. Upon reminding them of the Costco pricing they left and return this time with a monthly price $30 more than my Costco pricing. We left immediately and headed out to Huntington Beach Mazda where we had a wonderful experience purchasing our MX-30. More

My service advisor, Chris Mendoza was a great communicator, both by phone and text. The service crew was able to diagnose my strange problems in my 2018 CX-9 display and got it fixed.
