I recently purchased my fourth Mazda with HB Mazda. I always feel respected and treated fairly. There has always been a car that fits my lifestyle at the time perfectly. This most recent visit stood out, I worked with Joe "Big Joe" Rosales. He was extremely transparent and helpful with assuring I got a car that met my expectations and made me happy. He was personable and created an experience beyond just being a sales transaction. I felt comfortable with asking questions and had no doubt with the quality of service I was receiving throughout the entire visit. I appreciated that Joe listened to what I liked and didn't like, and did not waste my time on looking at models that I wasn't interested in. He was well informed and knowledgable about all the models and different packages. Joe took the time at the end to ensure I downloaded the Mazda App(total game changer) and had it properly set up. As a mom of two, I do not have a lot of spare time, yet I need to ensure the quality of my vehicle. Joe, Cooper, and Nick all worked together to make it a smooth visit. More

Overall had a great car buying experience at Huntington Beach Mazda. Walked in and were greeted by Manny. I told him what I was looking for and he went to find it. Out of the four cars I saw online, they o Beach Mazda. Walked in and were greeted by Manny. I told him what I was looking for and he went to find it. Out of the four cars I saw online, they only had one there but it ended up to be the perfect one! While we were waiting in the coffee area, he had introduced us to "Big Joe". Joe asks me what I was looking for and I told him a 2020 Mazda CX-5. He asked me why not a new one? I told him I would never buy a new car and have it already depreciate in value the moment I drive it off the lot. I told him that I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and most people thought the 2020 was just as great as the newer models. He then asked me, in front of a room of other customers, "Do you believe everything you see on the internet?" and then told me about how everyone gets paid to say things on the internet and such. It felt demeaning and embarrassing and was completely not the way to win over a customer. Everyone on the internet was singing praises about the Mazda 2020 when comparing it to others, so why even question my choice when it was in the dealership's favor?! I wanted to tell him that I don't believe everything a car salesman tells me either, but I knew how to be polite and refrained. Anyway, I test drove the car in the rain. Manny was great and pointed out all the features (even more than I knew) and I really liked it. Long story short, I had to sell a car back to Toyota and sell my truck to CarMax and I was ready to come back 2 days later. Manny was off the day I came in but told me he wanted to come in when I would be there. There was a moment where he told me to reach out to Joe to meet me and when I did, Joe kept asking me when I was going to be there - I had no idea since I still had to wait for Toyota and CarMax to finish their process. I gave him an estimated time and I just felt he was really pushy when I couldn't let anyone know what time I would be there (exactly). I then said to Joe "Can't anyone help me?" I think he could sense my frustration at this point and told me to call him when I was finishing up. As I was at the Toyota dealership finishing up, Joe called and I had my husband answer. Joe said Manny was going to be meeting me after all, and honestly, I was grateful. Finally finished up with the two other car errands and made it to HB Mazda right before Manny met us. We looked over the car again and I made the decision to purchase it. I did have to wait quite some time for Finance but I think that's to be expected at any dealership when others are buying cars. Cooper did make the process as simplified and quick as possible when we got in there. Very nice person and thoughtful with apologizing about the wait. Finally finished with Finance and was ready to take the car home. Manny went through the features again and I was on my way! I've had my car about two weeks now and I absolutely LOVE it! The only thing it's missing is a car manual! I'll find one online, I suppose. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at HB Mazda because of Manny. He was very welcoming, personable, and I felt he was very honest. If I was in the market for another car, I would definitely contact Manny and would definitely refer friends and family to him! More
