Sales Experience Having been treated rudely and, in my opinion, deceptively, by another Hyundai dealer, I sought a quote for a36-month, 12,000 miles/year lease for a 2 Having been treated rudely and, in my opinion, deceptively, by another Hyundai dealer, I sought a quote for a36-month, 12,000 miles/year lease for a 2018 Sonata with the Ultimate Package. My salesperson, Fred Gilbert, went through all the pricing options and available incentives and he and sales manager Derrick invited me to go through the step by step computation on their Hyundai Finance computerized lease app. I saw for myself the numbers (available rebates, Hyundai dealer incentives, dealer cost etc.) that they were working with. No hard sell, no telling me they would match a lower offer from another dealer, just a final price. Unusual but gratifying experience. The car I (my wife, in fact) selected was not available and it took 2 months from my first visit to finally being able to close. In the meantime, the incentives increased and HH honored its oral commitment to pay the last month's lease payment on the car I was replacing. Fred kept me abreast of the status of the lengthy search for the car I wanted and offered possible alternatives (and even they turned out to be out to be unavailable) but at least I knew what was going on. This is the third Sonata I have leased from HH and each time, I have found the sales staff to be candid and never going back on their (oral) commitments. I think that that should tell you how I feel about this dealership. More
