I just bought my car here last week, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. My salesperson, Eddie, was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. He answered all my questions, gave me space to make my own decisions, and never once made me feel pressured. That really stood out compared to other dealerships I've been to. Eddie treated me with respect, walked me through every step, and made sure I felt confident with my purchase. The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and honestly enjoyable. If you're in the market for your dream car, I can't recommend Eddie and this dealership highly enough. They truly put the customer first. More
I give Jose the sales man five stars. He was very kind and easy to work with and helped me lease my new car. Sam, the owner is also very kind and helpful. ***If you only read one review of Huntley Ford, I hope you’ll consider this one. I’ve spent nearly two years living with the consequences of my purchase, and I’ve put real time and thought into laying out you’ll consider this one. I’ve spent nearly two years living with the consequences of my purchase, and I’ve put real time and thought into laying out my experience. I’ve also compared my story against hundreds of others across multiple review sites. Yes, it’s longer than most reviews—but buying a car isn’t buying a stapler, it’s a serious decision. Taking a few minutes here could save you from the headache I’ve been living for almost two years.*** Huntley Ford Review I purchased my vehicle from Huntley Ford at the beginning of 2024. At the time, the buying experience, while a bit lengthy, felt generally pleasant. In retrospect, I realize I was being worked over the entire time. In the spirit of fairness, I must report that the vehicle itself has been reliable and enjoyable over the past 20 months. The Numbers Don’t Add Up The car was advertised for $37,777, but the final out-the-door cost was about $55,000. That included a $5,000 “certification” fee never mentioned upfront and a $5,000 warranty I purchased like an absolute moron. Now, that doesn’t say much about me for buying it, but it says even less about a dealership that is willing to sell a warranty that actually covers less than the manufacturer’s included warranty, and take more money from a customer already spending a great deal with them. Oversight vs. Responsibility I rushed the process during a chaotic time in my life and didn’t scrutinize every detail. That’s 100% on me. But reputable dealerships shouldn’t require customers to be on guard against every angle. A straightforward purchase shouldn’t demand that level of vigilance. The Warranty Refund Runaround Two months after purchase, once life calmed down, I reviewed my contract and warranty materials and realized how badly I had been taken advantage of. I immediately reached out to my salesman, Simon. He said he’d take care of canceling the warranty but never followed through, a pattern I would become very familiar with at Huntley Ford. In April 2024, I emailed the general manager, Mr. Kittaneh, explaining the situation and followed up by email two more times. I received no response. Fast forward to March 2025: I finally connected with Frank Flewelling. He said he would help and sent the refund form on March 24. After a couple of back-and-forths to get the details correct, I returned the form on March 31. After that, it was radio silence. Six separate phone calls where I was promised a call back resulted in not a single return call. I also sent three emails during this period (one directly to Mr. Kittaneh and all copying him along with Frank). None were answered. Ratings and Reputation On Google, Huntley Ford shows around 5,600 reviews with a 4.1-star average, and I’m not sure how they manage that. Clearly, they decide which review platforms they want to curate and pay attention to, and which ones they don’t. Elsewhere, the numbers tell a different story: • Yelp: 1.5/5 stars • Better Business Bureau: 2.5/5 stars from customers, despite an A+ accreditation—which makes me question how the BBB rates businesses. That’s not the focus here. • CarGurus: 2.5/5 stars The contrast between the polished Google presence and their scores elsewhere raises reasonable questions about what those numbers really reflect. Conclusion If you buy a car from Huntley Ford, the vehicle itself will probably be fine. But go in with your guard up; way up. I understand profits must be made, but most businesses balance the company’s interests with the customer’s best interests. That is not their concern at Huntley Ford. They are 100% company-driven and profit-driven, and they don’t care how it affects their customers once they have their money. Huntley Ford on occasion responds to their negative reviews; this is strictly for optics. They post apologies and promise callbacks, but there is no follow-up. I personally got responses from seven reviewers across various platforms who received those More
