I purchased a vehicle with Huntley Ford, and now the next day it won't start. Vehicle is on the charger now and waiting to see if it's just a battery or more in depth issue. Frustrating on a new vehicle that was $50k and claimed to have been fully assessed by their mechanic staff prior to sale. One would think the most basic safety inspection would include inspecting the brakes, tires, load test the battery to see if it is bad and ensure the rest of the features on the vehicle work; and not leave someone stranded the day after purchasing the vehicle. Additionally, the sales manager was great and I was able to negotiate a deal with him, however, after negotiating that deal and agreeing on price, the rest of the process took forever. The salesman basically deserted me and did nothing to attempt to expedite the process, when he even told me they had only sold three cars prior to my purchase that day and were not that busy. The finance person was fantastic to work with as well and was happy and satisfied with him, however very unsatisfied in how most of the rest of the process went; and most definitely will not be recommending Huntley to anyone I know and I will not be a returning customer. I looked at a vehicle with the salesman and after finding out that it had other significantly in depth mechanical issues I passed on purchasing that one and the salesman seemed irritated with me on having to see a few vehicles before settling on the one that I purchased. Buyer beware, the dealer claims to get most of their vehicles in from auction and charges you as a buyer an almost $3,000 trucking and delivery fee for getting vehicles in and adds that on top of their other standard dealer fees, so be cognizant of that. In addition to that, the dealer claims to have had their service techs inspect the vehicles prior to sale, but the two other vehicles I looked at had almost bald tires as well as the brake rotors were grooved, indicative of needing brakes replaced. Additionally the dealer only works with one bank and I was informed they would not work with outsider financing, and the bank the dealer is associated with has a significantly higher interest rate on the auto loan, to the point of it being double that of what my personal bank would provide the loan for. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with the process and definitely will not be recommending this dealer to anyone I know, it was the worst auto purchasing process I have been a part of yet, and I have been a part of quite a few vehicle purchases. The service department was pleasant when I made my appointment. However, when I brought the car in they informed me that if the issue was something other than what was covered on the recall, they woul appointment. I wish they would have informed me of that over the phone when I made my appointment. I felt blindsided and like they should’ve disclosed that earlier. When the service manager called me with the update on the inspection, I felt like he was talking down to me and in a hurry to get me off the phone. A little honesty goes a long way. More

Surprised they don’t have a class action lawsuit against them yet Worst Loanshark disguised as a “dealership” Ever !!!!!! (and I buy a new car every 2-3yrs) They are in the business of bait and switch/sca them yet Worst Loanshark disguised as a “dealership” Ever !!!!!! (and I buy a new car every 2-3yrs) They are in the business of bait and switch/scamming and taking advantage of vulnerable people #1- came an hour to buy a 2024 BMW no financing needed but learned what you see on line is NOT the price you will get especially if you have your own financing or plan to buy cash or check they will become rude and arrogant and try to force you into financing through them so they can take advantage of you (literally told us if we don’t finance through them they will not sell us the car even though it’s been on the lot over 100 days and that “it will eventually sell”) Major Red flag!!!!!!!! They go so far as to tell you if you paying cash to just let them run your credit and finance through them and after 1st payment just pay it off so they can make more money. This is a scam so that they can add a bunch of fees onto that loan put a high interest rate on you and charge you for things that you are not aware of with hidden fees … Why else would they try to force you into financing with them and refuse to allow you to come with your own financing or pay cash? Ohhh The salesman told us that the reason the price online is misleading and lot lower is because “Huntley is in the middle of nowhere, and if they did not put lower prices online that no one would come there” Scam! Scam! Scam! #2- They have so many consistent negative reviews and complaints but what I find funny is this loanshark/“dealership” every night goes out it’s way to have a cluster of fake positive reviews posted that all seem to be pretty much the same to filter out all the bad ones lmao All the salesman and so called manager is unprofessional and rude and lack customer service…. Remember, if something seems too good to be true RUN!!!!!!especially at Hartley Ford So let’s get to the story Came in to buy a 2024 BMW after Receiving a annoyingly amount of calls and text from them after inquiring presented them the confirmed price we got online and through email from them confirming the price out the door, but when we got there, they told us that if we don’t finance through them that we cannot have that price after my fiancé, who is a attorney made them aware of their unethical and illegal practices And threatened to sue, they finally agreed to allow us to use our check through Navy Federal just so they can cover their xxx from legal issues but then they hit us with a “you can’t take the car home until the check clears in about a week” First off I have never heard of a dealership doing that so then my fiancé tells the manager that he will wire the full amount of money for them to hold until the check clears and again the manager says No My fiancé, went as far as to letting them know that he can draw up a legal contract, but still they refused it. They were basically making it impossible for us to purchase Because in reality, they never wanted us to purchase it, but they also wanted to avoid any legal issues Finally after Going back-and-forth as to why they will not allow us to take the car home We were then told by the manager that they will not Let us take the car home Even if we wired them the cash to hold and wrote up a contract in case check won’t clear…. That makes no sense, especially with a federally funded check that I have never had a issue with in the past at any other dealership Come to find out navy federal, denied them the funds on many occasions in the past because a lot of the cars Huntley ford sells have hidden issues and conditions versus the reality of the car. And to think if I Would’ve done what Huntley Ford wanted me to do and financed through them and paid it off with my Navy Federal check after the first payment I probably would’ve been denied by navy federal and stuck with Huntley fords horrible loan terms and high fees MAJOR RED FLAG!!!!!!!! Things escalated quickly, with a staff member named Musah getting unnecessarily agitated. Original Review: I recently purchased a new car from this dealership - Sales Guy was Eric, but the sales closing experience has been far from satisfactory. On the day of purchase, they were unable to transfer my existing plates, citing unclear reasons. They assured me that it would be resolved the next day and promised to contact me. I requested to handle the process via email, as returning to the dealership requires a one-hour drive. The next day, I called three times, left messages for their finance teams, and never received a call back. Frustrated, I decided to drive in two days later, only to be told by the finance person that my trip was unnecessary as they would not process the plates for at least 4 more hours. I am still waiting, no updates so far. Promises made to be done maximum in 30 mins. Let’s see. The entire process could have been handled in under 10 minutes or without me even coming in, yet the lack of communication and disregard for customer time made this an incredibly frustrating experience. It’s disappointing to see such poor treatment of an existing customer. More
