Service department is slipping I would have sworn by Hutcheson until this past month. I brought a car in for servicing. I was told that the most the service would be was $200. It ended up being $250 by the time it was done but I didn't have much of a choice since I would have had to tow it elsewhere and pay to start over again. While it was there I called and asked you guys to do a basic oil change. It's a slightly older car, and nothing fancy. When I came to pick it up, not only was the bill higher than expected, but I was charged $45 for a basic oil change. This is a ridiculous amount. When I questioned why a basic oil change is $45 when The Works package is $49 Tyler shrugged his shoulders and said that's the price. A week later I needed a safety inspection on one of my other cars. When I scheduled it I asked how long it would take so I knew how to plan my day. They told me no longer than 30 minutes. I dropped it off on time and then sat there for an hour. At the 1 hour mark I found one of the guys and they stated that the one guy that was there to do safety inspections "got busy with something else" and would start it shortly. Needless to say, I will not be back for an oil change, and I now realize that making an appointment does not guarantee that you guys won't waste my time. I'm seeking other services. Compared to how fabulous and dependable you guys used to be, lately it's been very disappointing and expensive. More
