I had an appointment confirmed to view a vehicle at this dealership for over 24 hours. I was coming in from out of town and drove two and a half hours first thing in the morning only to realize they had sol dealership for over 24 hours. A sales associate confirmed my appointment via text, another via voicemail, and I even returned that phone call later in the day. The car was sold the night before and I never received a call or notification that the car had been closed on. Honestly, a huge lack of communication that wasted over five hours of my day just for an “oops:” massive disappointment. Additionally, the sales person to greet me after I arrived there (not primary sales associate) did not seem thrilled about greeting me, and certainly treated me as more of a burden on them. From a business that relies on customers handing over thousands of dollars to them, customer service and overall respect of others’ time is significantly lacking in my experience with this dealership. More

Dishonest Dealership I found a vehicle listed for $15,284 on the website, so I called Friday and spoke to a lady about buying it. I told her I was a cash buyer and offered $15,000. She said she couldn't negotiate price, but that her sales manager could and would call me back. He called Monday to say the original price was too low and that to get me out the door would be $16,650. I asked if he'd take $15,500, but he declined and said it was going to auction on Tuesday. Well, I called back Tuesday afternoon and was told it didn't go to auction because others were looking at the vehicle, so I asked if the sales manager could call me. He called back Wednesday afternoon and said he sent it to auction. Someone isn't telling the truth, and I honestly don't know why. I'm a cash buyer who offered a fair amount. If they didn't like that offer, then just say so, but don't lie. I'd deal with a more honest car dealership if I were you. More

Within 30 days, on her way back to school she was having car trouble. By the time she arrived back at school, we had a diagnostic done on the car and her transmission needed to be replaced. My husband and I went to Capital Hyundai and spoke with Rob Needham and was told there was nothing they could do because she purchased it as is. We are so upset with Capital Hyundai because this is the 2nd car purchased from there that have had issues. NEVER AGAIN!!! I feel they knew something was wrong with that car when she purchased it and said nothing. Absolutely the worst thing to do to a college student. Now we are paying a car payment for a car that will not move until we get money to replace the transmission. More

My wife found a 2012 Jeep Liberty at Capitol Hyundai. It was exactly what we were looking for. We purchased it under "As Is". After a couple of weeks it was apparent that the car had some mechanical issues. Understanding that we assumed all the possible issues when we purchased it, I still went back to the Capitol Hyundai and explained the situation. They were very nice and I got a sense that the people I was talking to were really listening to me. They understood, being parents themselves the problem of putting a teenage driver in an unreliable vehicle. I was blown away when they took the time to search for a vehicle that we could trade for and would be in our price range. We are not talking about a 30 thousand dollar car. This did not matter to the management and employees there. They treated us like we were purchasing that brand new vehicle. They went above and beyond what I expected them to do. I will be forever grateful for their professionalism and caring they showed me and my family. My experience there was a true blessing. More
Deception! My test drive consisted of the representative beside me on his phone. Not explaining any controls or features. Luckily I did this on my own. Didn't figure out how to use Android auto until 1 hour later when I got home. That's ok though. The only major problem I had was with the way the paperwork was presented to me, but I should have paid close attention. When Mr. Mcall was going over add-ons with me he conveniently didn't mention that an extended warranty was attatch to the final price. Mentioned 3 other things but never said anything about the extended warranty, which was the highest plan by the way. Got to the finance guy, Abe I think his name was, and he said that they were giving me a 10 year warranty. Making it sound as if it was something that came with the car from hyundai. Since i knew that hyundais had 10 year warranty, i had no reason to believe that this was anything extra. Again nobody mentioned that I was paying an extra 2200 dollars for this. This can and will be cancelled, but it still made my payment higher than it had to be, and I've learned from experience that extended warranties are no good. This was the part that I didn't appreciate at all. The rest of it I didn't care about because I was going to get the car regardless, but I have a great problem with how that was hidden into the bill. As this is my first new car I have learned to pay attention to absolutely everything line by line. This was unnecessary. When asked how everything was going with the vehicle, I told him that it was perfect, but asked why this wasn't brought to my attention. I was told I would get a call. A call that I have not received. I will also be filing a complaint with BBB about this. Thank you for your time. I would have no problem recommending people to buy a car there if it wasn't for this 1 thing! I love my car, so it has nothing to do with that. I am still glad i got this vehicle. I just have problem when people are purposefully deceitful for whatever reason. it was the reps that i came in contact with. Sean McCall the sales rep and Abe as the finance specialist.
