I called to make an appointment several times over 45:00 in late afternoon and no one would answer the phone. Called the parts department and their guy was kind enough to walk over and tell service to pick in late afternoon and no one would answer the phone. Was the third car in at 7:30a.m. They never touched my car and the desk didn't know it wasn't touched until I called at 2:30PM. Then they told me a lot of "stuff" about how their diagnostic staff were too busy with other cars, but it really sounded like they didn't have enough diagnostic staff. When i picked up my car in late afternoon, I was told that I had to wait until a month later (!) because that was the first time a loaner car would be available ...but they could not promise the same thing would not happen a second time. I don't like being fed a line of crap - service refused to take responsibility for their actions and my experience of having to give up my car for a full day only to have nothing done to fix it was one of the most frustrating consumer experiences I have ever had. I think they only place they exceled was in finding enough different ways to tell me that they didn't want my business. More
A little frustrated that I had a 8:00 appointment. Was told I was the third car for service and that there were 4 mechanics working. Initial difficulty to establish communication with service department was quickly overcome by amenable and congenial staff, just as you would hope for. Everyone at Hyundai of 110 was friendly and helpful. I was there for two recalls on my 2022 Sonata. I had a 10;30 appointment and rather than sit there all day Uber car brought me home and back when the I was there for two recalls on my 2022 Sonata. I had a 10;30 appointment and rather than sit there all day Uber car brought me home and back when the service was completed. I think that makes it more convenient to consider your particular dealership for service. However, I suspect that since I was not paying for the recalls my car was there from 1030 to 1630 hours. I suspect that the paying customers were given preference over recall customers. Perhaps in the future bring recall cars in the afternoon so the wait takes less time. I had a 1030 appointment and hoped to be completed by 1330 hours, so that I could run errands in the afternoon. More
