I was away from home on a business trip returning from Eastern TN when my vehicle broke down in the NC mountains on the afternoon of Jan. 8th. While I was awaiting the tow from AAA my husband contacted Hy Eastern TN when my vehicle broke down in the NC mountains on the afternoon of Jan. 8th. While I was awaiting the tow from AAA my husband contacted Hyundai of Asheville and spoke w/ Brian discussing the situation. Brian was very helpful from the start, demonstrating concern and advising that they would be certain to look at my vehicle as soon as possible once I arrived. The tow truck took longer than anticipated, and I barely made it to the dealership right before closing. Although he had a prior appointment, Brian stayed and greeted me and made sure that I was ok. Even though there were no loaner cars or rental cars available in the area due to the cold weather that had occurred over the recent days, he ensured that I made it to my hotel safely. Early the next morning I received a call regarding the status of my vehicle. The service center had my SUV repaired and I was on my way home by early afternoon. I greatly appreciate the service that Brian and his team provided. They showed concern and care and did everything that they could to ensure my safety for my return trip back to Atlanta. For a situation that nobody plans on or wants to occur, Brian's assistance was greatly appreciated. More
I bought my Veloster new from Hyundai of Asheville a year ago. I took it in because the front end is making a noise when gears shift, backing up, putting car in park, pulling forward slowly, putting car in ago. I take my car to get serviced and the Service Techs along with the Service Desk tell me that the noise I hear is "special noise of the Veloster". Also on that service visit there were recalls and updates that needed to be done that I was unaware of. One of those included a part dealing with the brakes. They replaced the faulty piece but forgot to reconnect my emergency brake. I didn't notice until later that night that the emergency brake was not working at all, so the next morning I call the service desk to tell them I am coming back and will need to be done quickly and have gas in my car since this trip was not my fault as I didn't forget to reconnect the emergency brake. Upon leaving the dealership, the Service Desk man, Tommy, followed me out to my car, and told me that he doesn't feel that I will be happy with any service they give me and that I need to find another dealership and there is one in another County another 40 miles on top of the 30 I drove to get to their dealership. I told him that I had filed a complaint with Hyundai Motor Company for the poor customer service that I have continuely received, Tommy said yes I know, I told him I didn't need to be talking to him and I didn't like his attitude. He responded that he didn't like mine either. What kind of company allows your employees to tell customers that they need to go else where for service? Hyundai of Asheville does. More
Service was performed quickly and the service personnel were all very curteous. I was pleasantly surprised that they also offered to wash and vacuum my Elantra. Icame to them because my tramission was out which could have been avoided had Hunter Hyundai had listen to me I would not had been left on the side of the road and without transportation. David was very nice and extremely helpful. My problem was resolved (fixed) in a short period of time. I would recommend them to anyone. I had called David about oil change service and my lighter/charger/ipod unit wasn't working. He got me in the very next morning.
