Bill was the reason for the high score. The dealership itself, including the sales manager and the finance team leave some to be desired. I was preapproved for financing and had a preapproval letter from my bank. Yet the sales manager would not hold the vehicle for me even after I committed to buy it. He did agree to allow me to put $1000 deposit down which I was able to get refunded. I understand the desire for the dealer to finance vehicles as that's a major source of income. But it really shows a lot of bad faith towards a customer who is willing to purchase from your dealership. More

I went with intention of purchasing a specific vehicle. She could sense I wasn't thrilled after the test drive and offered to let me try others while listening and guiding me along the way. She never felt pushy but I'm always leery of people working on commission. This included the manager and the extended warranty stuff too. My dad was a salesman so I grew up around sales and I was married to one for a while too. Anyhow I wasn't happy with what I bought and was allowed to upgrade the next day since I reached out so quickly to request this change. It ended up costing me quite a bit more than I expected but I think overall I'll be happy with my purchase. Any mistakes or regrets are on me, not them. More
