New 2017 Santa Fe Purchase Staff were knowledgeable and professional, listened carefully to descriptions of our needs and desires and did their best to accommodate us; searched Staff were knowledgeable and professional, listened carefully to descriptions of our needs and desires and did their best to accommodate us; searched for a model with the color and features we wanted and offered an alternative at an acceptable price. The surroundings are modern and pleasant. It's obvious that the staff works very hard and, at times, seemed to be juggling customers at different stages in the purchase process. We traded a well used 2011 Santa Fe Limited because we wanted some of the new features. Some of the car's new features are a challenge to learn to operate and we feel comfortable returning or calling with question. For example, we returned the day after purchasing the car and they quickly removed the carrier racks that were mounted and were creating wind noise. (Rec you never try to sell the vehicle with those installed... they are noisy and create windage at 50 plus mph giving us an initial impression that the car was noisy! ) Thankfully, after removal, we were relieved to have a quiet vehicle! The learning curve for some of the features (e.g. new GPS system) is steep and Jack Asta, our sales rep, has gone out of his way to make us feel comfortable contacting him with questions or concerns. As an fyi and caution for you future customers, we have had two incidents with the new push button ignition system: (1) my hard- of- hearing husband failed to turn off the ignition, failed to hear the wonderfully quiet engine still running, did not know what the warning "beep" was and left the car running for several hours. (2) my son pushed the button to turn off the ignition, somehow accidentally pushed it again putting it in auxiliary mode and ran down the battery... the warning "beep" is far too gentle! More
