My wife and I were shopping for a used Hyundai Sona At my age, I've bought more than a few cars, and have had a full range of car buying experiences. My wife and I were shopping for a used Hyundai Sonata (based on our total satisfaction with her aging 2003 Sonata), and after looking at several places we ended up at Cherokee Hyundai. They had several Sonatas that fit our needs, and 1 in particular that she loved. Now, I NEVER walk into a dealership with the mind-frame that "I'll buy today", but their offer was so good that I decided that a same day purchase might actually happen this time. Starting with Floor Manager Shaun Dunn, Salesman Sam Janjooa and ending with Finance Director James Young, the entire experience was friendly, professional and above all, FAIR. There was no high-pressure tactics, double-teaming or other questionable strategies that I've seen used at other dealerships. They were all straight-forward, genuine and easy to work with. A special praise for Mr. Janjooa, our salesman. He went above and beyond to explain everything, answer all questions thoroughly, and even synched up my wife's phone to the car's Bluetooth functions as we left. Never once did I detect any of the all to common car sales flim-flam tactics that I've encountered from other salesmen in the past. Totally a great guy. Thanks Sam! Overall, a very satisfying experience. We have a car that we love, and I feel that we got a deal that I'm quite happy with. More

After the test drive I was hooked so it was time to get this bought. After I explained my current situation and what I was looking to do, Saj took the concerned effort to get me what I needed. I am very satisfied with the beautiful Veloster and the price is very affordable for my budget. The staff was very plant pleasant to be around and they were there if we needed them. For it being my first car I was very nervous but Saj and the staff at Cherokee Hyundai made me feel welcome and part of the family. Horrible Sales Manager but Good Service Staff I bought 2 Hyundai’s, both about 3 years ago at Cherokee Hyundai. I always use their service department and am always 100% satisfied. Last week, I wen I bought 2 Hyundai’s, both about 3 years ago at Cherokee Hyundai. I always use their service department and am always 100% satisfied. Last week, I went to buy a new 2015 Sonata for my wife. The salesperson I met was very courteous and knowledgeable. Then, we met Shaun Dunn, the sales manager, who started interrogating us and asking us questions one after another as if we were sitting in front of the FBI. He started boasting about how he has 6 kids and 18 grandkids, which has nothing to do with us. We are here to buy a new car. He disrespected us a lot and didn’t even address our concerns. We have not even seen the car yet (2015 Sonata) and he is asking us questions like: what do you want your monthly payment to be, trade-in values and what our current vehicle is. I told him that I haven’t even seen the car yet and I said I need to look at the car first before answering any of your questions. He pushed us so hard that we eventually left the dealership and went to buy 2 new cars – 2015 Hyundai Sonata & 2015 Hyundai SantaFe - from another Hyundai dealership. I will definitely recommend using their service department, but NOT their sales department. They have a very knowledgeable sales staff, but a horrible sales manager. I will NOT go there ever again as long as Shaun Dunn works there. More

Went back the next day, talked to Sam a bit more and purchased the Elantra. Sam was great the entire time and again with no pressure.
