Russ approached me within one minute of entering the dealership. He was polite and did try to push me in some (car of the month) direction. We set up an appointment for the next day so my wife could also sit in the vehicles and decide which one to test drive. After my wife and I made our decision, Russ located the vehicle we wanted in the colors we chose. The entire process took two hours. Hyundai of Kirkland beat my desired price by $1000.00. We returned three hours later to pick up the new Elantra GT and Russ explained the major features of the vehicle so we could operate it safely. He even helped us set up "Bluelink and "Bluetooth". This is the second Hyundai that we currently own and it has been the best "car buying experience" we could hope for. I was buying my first new car and pretty uncomfortable by the whole thing going in. I'm used to the idea of the pushy, sleazy salesmen from movies and such. I had even seen a couple while out and about car shopping. I accidentally stumbled into Hyundai while at the Ford dealership and it was a pretty good goof. The staff there were very friendly and knowledgable, they didn't shove anything at me, and were ok with me taking my time and doing my research. They are confident in their product and their services and don't need to trick you into it. There were a lot of great folks there who helped me out, but my primary contact was Kathryn Young, who was exactly the person I needed. She knew her product, was passionate about it, and was an excellent teacher. She explained a lot about the process to me and didn't blindside me with anything. I came into the situation pretty distrustful, and feel a bit bad about it now, after the process is over. I nabbed a 2013 Elantra. I test drove a couple of cars at most of the local dealerships, but this was the one that sat right with me. They worked with me (for probably too long, sorry guys!) on a price and I've left very happy. They even pointed out a small scratch on the rear bumper that I had completely missed on my inspection of the car, and will be taking care of it for me soon. Overall, I came into the process with a bad outlook, and have left pretty impressed. I'll definitely be recommending these folks. More

My name is Jim Tuohy and I was in the market for a new Hyundai for my son James. We went to our local Hyundai Dealer hoping to purchase or lease a new car because the lease on our 2011 Sonata was running Hyundai for my son James. We went to our local Hyundai Dealer hoping to purchase or lease a new car because the lease on our 2011 Sonata was running out. We spent over 4 hours in the dealership and never once got a straight answer about what are car was worth and what price a new one would cost. It was a sham and a con job rolled into one, The one thing that we did accomplish was to see the 2013 Elantra GT. Disgusted with our experience, my son and I started looking on the internet for Hyundai Dealers on the west coast for any GT's that might be available. We spent hours looking at many websites. The website that stood out by a mile was Hyundai of Kirkland Wash.. So the next morning I got on the phone to Hyundai of Kirkland, and that is where I met Jason. Jason is the consummate professional. He was straight forward, courteous, and prompt in his evaluation of the situation. I received a quote on both my Sonata, and a Elantra GT in short order. Jason was willing to go out on a limb and save a car for a specified time in order to help me with my decision. Even when the local dealer tried to match Jason's deal. he was steadfast in his loyalty to me and the deal. After the horrible experience that I had with another Hyundai Dealer, it was refreshing to meet someone with integrity and good business sense. Jason should be commended in the manner that this car deal was transacted.. Hyundai of Kirkland should feel proud that they have quality people like Jason. I I will recommend HOF to all of my friends even though your dealership is almost 300 miles away Good luck to HOF and Jason, as it is clear why your Dealership is Number 1.
