Rebates for days I purchased a brand new 2018 Hyundai Elantra from Jed Kam at Hyundai of Kirkland. I am 27 and had never bought a car, or anything that is this expensi I purchased a brand new 2018 Hyundai Elantra from Jed Kam at Hyundai of Kirkland. I am 27 and had never bought a car, or anything that is this expensive before, so I did not know what to expect from the car buying experience. I had two major concerns when it came to buying a car; I wanted low miles, and an affordable price. I visited Toyota and Honda dealerships before going to Hyundai of Kirkland. The cars I saw at competing dealerships were stretching my budget to keep options under 50,000 miles. I was beginning to lose hope that I would find a vehicle that would be both affordable ($15,000 max) and have low miles. Initially looking at the sticker price on the 2018 Elantra (around $20,000) I was thinking that this was another car that was out of my price range, but after Jed told me about all of the rebates I thought that I had a shot at getting it within my budget. $7000 dollars of rebates later I'm looking at a price closer to $13,000. When it was all said and done I was out the door and into my new car only going over budget by about $1000. I felt that it was a solid investment and the folks at Hyundai of Kirkland did everything they could to make the process easy. More
