Poor service! First you get free maintenance, but watch out! There's more to come and make you go back and Charge you after! This is not good dealer and bad servi First you get free maintenance, but watch out! There's more to come and make you go back and Charge you after! This is not good dealer and bad service! If you plan to come this dealer, my advice is to think twice and find close by hyundai instead of going to lincolnwood location.. More
I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled service time at Hyundai of Lincolnwood and selected the Ride Share option so I could be driven home. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked when the driver would arriv at Hyundai of Lincolnwood and selected the Ride Share option so I could be driven home. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked when the driver would arrive. The employee kept saying “another 15–20 minutes.” This happened three times. In total, I waited over 50 minutes before finally being taken home. Before I left, the employee promised twice that he would call me when my car was ready. Nobody ever called. When I called the service myself, they told me the car was already finished. The woman on the phone said the driver would pick me up in 30 minutes, but after waiting another hour and a half, nobody came. When I called again, I was told there were no drivers left and I had to come on my own. When I arrived, they told me I had to pay for two filters and labor, even though my vehicle purchase included four free maintenance services. I refused to pay, but they refused to return my car keys. I had to call the police, and only after that did they give me back my keys. Later, I discovered that someone at this service center tried to forge my signature on a document — my signature is very distinctive and hard to copy. In the morning, before leaving my car, I specifically asked the technician to set tire pressure to 30 PSI. However, when I got the car back, the pressure was 38 PSI. The valve caps on the left side were barely tightened, and the ones on the right side were missing completely. In addition, the right front tire pressure sensor stopped working, and the warning light has been on ever since. They didn’t even bother to check it. This was an absolutely terrible experience. I will never return to Hyundai of Lincolnwood and do not recommend this place to anyone. More
I had yo have an emergency tow after hours, & was told they "didnt take walk-ins." Didn't even look at my car for 3 days. Didn't return my calls for 3 more days to update status. When the car was ready, o they "didnt take walk-ins." Didn't even look at my car for 3 days. Didn't return my calls for 3 more days to update status. When the car was ready, only received a voice-mail, the text didnt come until I was there picking up the car. The advisor was very nice, but the car had to be returned within 1/2 an hour of driving away with the same problem as the original one. More
My visit was more costly than expected, given that all routing service under 36,000 miles is covered by the warranty. The cashier just gave me a really crappy explanation. She didn't even show me the brea routing service under 36,000 miles is covered by the warranty. The cashier just gave me a really crappy explanation. She didn't even show me the breakdown until I asked to see it, just giving me the final pages to sign. I'm a bit confused and feel like I was taken advantage of, like typical "jiffy lube" air filter replacement upselling. Not pleased with this experience. More
