Hyundai of New Port Richey

Lug nut and stud removal I bought a certified pre-owened 2010 Hyundai Elantra in Jan 2016. I have had my service work ( oil change, tire rotation) done by New Port Richey Hyun I bought a certified pre-owened 2010 Hyundai Elantra in Jan 2016. I have had my service work ( oil change, tire rotation) done by New Port Richey Hyundai. On one service two studs were stripped...... I did not have time for them to fix but did have work completed by a licensed repair shop at my expense. On September of this year I had another oil change and tire rotation and expressed to the repair manager about being cautious while removing lug nuts. Well, another stud was stripped and the explanation I got was that they were on too tight. I explained that they were the last to do rotation and then I was told that it’s an old car and lug nuts don’t like coming on and off. In the end they did fix stud and lug nut. Keith Chase was very good at resolving situation and was a pleasure to work with navigating these issues. I intend on rolling over this vehicle with NPR Hyundai.... thanks Douglas Muxworthy More
