UNPROFESSIONAL. SIZES UP CUSTOMERS CIRCUMSTANCES Too new to review the Service Department. We were on a time crunch when we arrived, due to another appointment we had made. We were at the dealership over 2 hours negotiating, but it was obvious they knew we came in for that particular car because it was the same year our trade in was, and felt it would be an even trade. Wishfull thinking. We ended up getting the black book value for a car with high mileage, with no bells and whistles. Our car was a 2013 Buick Verondo with ALL the bells and whistles with only 27K miles. A real cream buff, one owner beside ourselves, and no accidents. The car we wanted was a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with less equipment. The condition was equal. To be fair, the Hyundai did have 9K less miliage than ours. Our first question to our Salesman was "does it have Navigation?" He said YES. Being Seniors, it is very easy to get lost on the freeways, and in unknown areas. When we brought the car home, we realized the car did NOT have Navigation. It has Blue Link. Blue Link is an application that you must download to your phone. It is then sent to a central office to get the data, then uploaded to the radio. Very poor system. A very complicated system and time consuming for us to use. In an emergency situation, we would be unable to reroute quickly. We called the Salesman back The next day. The Salesman said for the year of this car being a 2013, Navagation was not an option, only Blue Link. He said, Hyundai Navagation was made available in 2014. Another misrepresentation. For the record, they are replacing the radio because we found out it did not work. They lied again. We had asked if the radio going to be a new factory replacement or a refurbished one. They said the radio was not a refurbished replacement, and new right from the factory. Found out later from the parts department, all repair is refurbished. With that said, we will never purchase or trade in a car or buy a SUV at this dealership again. Our daughter heard our experience and said they refused to purchase a car at that dealership because they had a similar experience. They purchased their new Hyundai in Clearwater. Our reviews on the internet are rarely a negative experience. We wish to say something positive. On a good note, our salesperson, Chris was very curteous, but greatly mislead us. The finance manager, Darryl, in our opinion was not cooperative, sympathetic nor professional. Reason: He knew we came in for that particular car with low mileage as our trade. He would not come off the sticker price. Who buys a car at sticker price? He had another Hyundai for sale with low mileage. He never offered that car to us. We found out that night by going on the internet again. It was at their VW Dealership they own next store. They share the same property, and also sells their trade-ins both at that dealership and vise versa. It was a 2014 Huyundai he had in stock at near the same price, with more equipment and with Navigation. We feel we have been taken advantage of. To get an older car with low milage is hard to find, We ended up paying them an additional $8,000 and our trade. Our Buick was paid for. In addition they have our Buick listed for $18,000 at their wholesale used car lot under another name. How did we know? We googled the vin number. Robert and Julie More

Window Repair It was 6:30 on a weekday night. When I pushed the button for my driver side window to go down so I could see traffic coming, the window fell down i It was 6:30 on a weekday night. When I pushed the button for my driver side window to go down so I could see traffic coming, the window fell down in the door and there was rain coming. So I quickly called Hyundai service center to see if I could get it repaired that evening. The very polite, calm service advisor told me to bring it in and they would help me get the window up so I could get it repaired the following day. As usual, my service advisor Marie helped put the window up & duck taped it. She said she would call me the following day to see if she had the part so I could get it repaired. She followed through and my car was repaired the next day. Thank you Mary for attending to this so quickly. I will buy my next car at this dealership because of this excellent service. More

Getting run around Purchased new car from this dealership, part of the deal was window tint. Had to wait 3 weeks to get installed, day of install their service dept sugg Purchased new car from this dealership, part of the deal was window tint. Had to wait 3 weeks to get installed, day of install their service dept suggested I upgrade to the cermanic tint for xtra $55.00 so I did. The install was not professional at all. Installer did not clean my windows, tinted over them, air pockets in tint along with scratches. Made appointment to take it back this time was on a Saturday, no one knew anything why I was there and suggested I wait for an hour until the service manager to arrive. Didn’t happen. The following Monday I received a call from the service department apologizing and told me they want to make it right. We scheduled out 3 weeks in advance for me to bring in my car for retinting and was promised a loaner car while they strip the tint and reinstall it. Went to the dealership on 9/14 my appointment was at 8am, got there at 7:50am waited until they open, had to wait until my name was called and the service guy had NO CLUE WHY I WAS THERE AGAIN!! I asked if the loaner was there he told me no there was no loaner with my name on it. In 5 years I have purchased 4 cars from this place, not again. They will give you the run around, talk you into pay for upgrade and they don’t back up their work. In the process of taking to an attorney to see what my legal options are. I will never again buy a car from New Port Richey Hyundai!! More
