A GOOD BUT UNEXPECTED EXPERIENCE I took my 2013 Elantra to the service department of Hyundai of New Port Richey because the transmission was slipping and the engine light was on. Bil I took my 2013 Elantra to the service department of Hyundai of New Port Richey because the transmission was slipping and the engine light was on. Bill Parente was in the service department when I arrived. He suggested that I think about buying a new car pending the examination of my car. The service department found that the front seal of the transmission had gone bad, the transmission fluid had leaked out and the transmission had burned up. They said it needed a whole new transmission. Bill offered to show me some new cars. The last thing I expected to buy that day was a new car. I started out that day just to buy pies for Thanksgiving. Bill really worked with me. He was able to work out a deal that was satisfactory and I drove off the lot in a brand new red Elantra!!! The first place I went was to the grocery store to get my much needed pies. More
