Check Out Dealer, Hendricks Hyundai NOT R Hendricks Chrysler My grandson Purchased a 2012 Sonata on 10-25-2016 . He is young and first car. Bad mistake buying all by yourself at 19. He brought the car over to me My grandson Purchased a 2012 Sonata on 10-25-2016 . He is young and first car. Bad mistake buying all by yourself at 19. He brought the car over to me and said Papa could you check out my car. After a few minutes I said well they sold you a car with unsafe tires and well below legal tread wear as well as one tire having a bad slice in the middle of the tread. We headed to dealer to ask how could you do this. He had driven the car 3500 miles since he bought it. Before heading to Hyundai I called Hyundai Chrysler Jeep to ask the policy and what to do. They said go to Hyundai on rivers talk to Used Car Manager and he should check to ensure the 34 point safety check was done and take care of any problems. Well WRONG!!! Answer was you must of hit something, tires are bad but probably because you drove it 3500 miles. You should of brought it back the next day, besides all my cars on the lot have good tires. Funny how car tires today only last 3500 miles before there unsafe. Rick Hendrick HYUNDAI should be ashamed, this really isn't Mr. Hendricks. After all the vehicles the family has purchased over the years, we won't make the same mistake twice. Should of went to Hyundai Chrysler Jeep, they seem to be the SAFE, HONEST dealer. Lesson learned, young people always take your dad or an adult with you. More
