While the initial car-buying experience was fine, Hyundai of North Charl I would not recommend purchasing a used car from Hyundai of North Charleston. While the initial car-buying experience was fine, Hyundai of North Charleston has failed to follow through on their we-owe agreement after two months. When I purchased my car, an interior door handle was broken. No problem, they agreed to fix it and signed a we-owe agreement. I was told that they would reach out to me when the part came in. After two weeks, I gave them a call because I had not heard anything, and they told me that in order to replace the part, they would need to do a bit more work and would get back to me. I attempted calling back several times over the course of the next few weeks, and got told by the receptionists (who were all very polite and tried to help) that my calls would be returned as soon as possible. I never heard back. Finally, last week I tried calling yet again, and was told that the part needed to fix my car had arrived! I was excited that after two months, my car would finally have the interior door handle I had been waiting for. I took the afternoon off of work, came in only to discover that the part that had came in was for the wrong trim, and would not fit on my car. The associate I had been working with, Fred, promised me that he would reach out to me next week to let me know that the correct part had been ordered. Well, it's another week later, and yet again I have not not heard a thing. I can't remember the name of the sales manager I worked with when I initially bought the car, but he hasn't reached out to me either. Frankly, this is getting tiresome. I just want the door handle in my car fixed, as was promised and agreed upon at the time of purchase. I have been patient, and after two months my patience has run dry. More

1st 2018 Hyundai Kona Owner in Charleston, SC Met with a high school classmate and friend, Daron Fleming after he was aware of my accident which totaled my car. He introduced me to Tracy Jones to assist because I leaning towards a PreOwned...but after doing some more research, I decided to buy a new vehicle. Brent assisted me after I applied online credit app. And got back in touch with Tracy, he told me about the new SUV that recently came out Hyundai Kona. I googled it and was pleased and in my price range. Tracy informed me he was heading out of town the same time I was committed to buying my car and was sent to Lisa on the New car side to assist and finishedup the transaction. Lisa offered to come by my house just so I could look at the car and being that I had my 3 year old already in bed that evening, it was perfect. Gave me a chance to look at the car and test drive it a little and still was able to think about it overnight. Met Steve and Harris towards the end of my transaction. There was a miscommunication in the price, but we gotten it all straightened out. People make mistakes, but definitely give chances for them to correct them :) Ended up still leaving a happy customer. And now I'm a new 2018 Hyunday Kona owner. 1st in the Tricounty!
