I exchanged a number of emails with Julian Garces, Internet Sales Director, and we finally agreed on the model/color/price, etc. My last communication with Mr. Garces was to set up an appointment for the following morning at 9:30 a.m. I also confirmed (by phone) the appointment with Demetrius Chaney, Genesis Experience Manager. As arranged, my husband and I arrived at the dealership a few minutes after 9:30 am. Shortly after our arrival, Mr. Chaney informed us that “regretfully your car had been sold overnight”. After some back and forth (they said they had a similar car in the backlot/did not have the car) and trying to convince us that we really did not need that particular model, etc., I requested to speak to the Manager, Ron Schey, with whom I interacted for the rest of the negotiations. While dealing with Mr. Schey, they also “found” a Sonata Sports and a Sonata Limited2.0T (but already with 4,300 miles). Needless to say, neither car was acceptable. Three to four hours later, Mr. Schey was able to locate a similar model, in a dealership nearby. Then it took approximately two plus hours for the car to arrive and be detailed. We finally left the dealership approximately at 4:30 pm. "Why did you not walk out? … because I certainly would have." was a question/comment posed to me by Mr. Schey at some point in time. Why did I not walk out? Because, I do not react positively to arrogance and/or a dismissive attitude. Regretfully we experienced both at Lehman. As a consideration for the unfortunate event, Alain Ruiz, General Sales Manager and first hand witness to the event, verbally offered to cover future service costs, for which I thanked him. He simply said to see him when we took in our car for service the first time and did not specify for how long his offer was. At that point in time, I was physically and mentally exhausted and did not ask for details or paperwork on the offer. We did not require financing, nevertheless, Alex Meza, Finance Manager, went out of his way to make the final paperwork requirements as simple and as positive as possible. After mentioning a number of times, that Mr. Garces was our point of contact (online), and knew of the agreement, late in the day Mr. Meza introduced us to him. Must be said, that Mr. Garces’ attitude was less than professional, and far from what should reasonably been expected under the circumstances. Demetrius Chaney, the original designated salesperson, was, at all times, as helpful as he was able to be and very concerned with the turn of events. He accompanied us in the test drive and walked us through the different car options (radio/phone/Bluetooth, etc.). Final thoughts. Lehman was the best price quoted. Would we buy another car from Lehman? Very doubtful, at least in the near future. Hope my comments are taken in a positive manner and will be helpful in correcting your customer service policy. Could use more customer service skills My original sales person was Kenny and he was helping me very well - he understood what I wanted and was working on it. After our first test drive, a lady came by and pretty much took over for him. She was pushing that I see the new hybrid car that had just came in, saying that it would be better for my price range (mind you, I hadn't given them my price range yet). I had come in to see only two cars, both the same type, just different packages that came with them, and Kenny understood that. Even after telling her I wasn't interested, she still pushed to give me both prices. She was the person who presented me with the financing and the leasing options. When I asked her about my APR, she said "oh, it's somewhere between like 5% and 7%"... that was VERY unprofessional. If she didn't know, she should've asked what APR pertained to my credit score, and not have guessed a range that would seem reasonable to me. I agreed that leasing would probably be the best option, but this was my first time leasing a car. I had asked several questions regarding the process, which she couldn't fully tell me. Again, if she didn't know, she should've asked or have the finance guys come by and tell me themselves. When it was finally time to agree to the purchase, she was still insistent on the other car. Even stating that the car I wanted was stuck behind 9 other cars and it would take a while -- why would that matter?! The whole process took from around 2:30pm until around 10:30 at night, which for me, if we hadn't had all the back and forth, would've been faster. If it wasn't for the first encounter with Kenny, and I had met this lady at first, I would have not purchased the car that day. I hope he does get recognition for this purchase, and not her. I assumed Kenny was still in training, but even their encounters together in front of me, she was belittling him IN FRONT of me (the customer). More

Orlando advised Jason had returned to the Service Department, he knows Jason has been my service adviser for many years so he handed me over. I was having some routine maintenance done I was written up advised of the charges and the scope of the work to be done. The Service Department was packed with customers. The wait time was fair, as mentioned the joint was jumping. My car was returned clean both inside and out. I having been dealing with Lehman Hyundai Service for ~5 years. I would give them 5 stars, always friendly, fair and helpful. More
