Install an adequate phone system. Kept going back to your voicemail, nobody in your service department answers the call. Very frustrating for anyone trying to find out about their vehicle.

I had difficulties starting the car and AAA informed me that I probably had a bad starter. When I brought the car in for a new starter, I was informed that it might take up to 96 hours to resolve the situation, four days. I was not happy being without a car for this time but I understood the challenges all businesses now face. Three weeks later, my car was finally repaired. While this unacceptable delay lies in both Lehman Hyundai’s shortage of personnel and other unfortunate circumstances, my correspondence to you addresses far more important issues. With this delay, I became aware of the following matters: 1. Your telephone system is either antiquated or broken. Every day for three weeks, I called multiple times to reach a service advisor to ascertain the status of my car. Not only could I not reach a human being but my multiple voicemails ( including two to you) were never replied to. 2. I found out when I finally picked up my car that the main number to the dealership, the one online and provided by your “chat professional “ is now incorrect and has been replaced. However, no one has bothered to change your website or inform your website chat employee. 3. Your service department is not efficient, professional, or service-oriented. Just review your social media comments to see what people are saying about your dealership! Over the three weeks of service for one starter, I received one phone call and one text. This is not good customer service. In fact, I had to come to the dealership twice just to find out my car’s status. 4. I purchased an extended warranty from your dealership a couple of years ago. One reason I purchased this contract from Lehman was because I was told by your people that it would expedite claims when your service department did covered work. Imagine my surprise when I was told that you sold the contract to another company and that the new company doesn’t necessarily accept your technician’s review. Perhaps at least notice to contract holders would have been nice.
