Duane was very professional, kind and helpful. He really worked hard to make my car buying experience a great one. I had worked with the dealership customer service for a day or two before I drove all the worked hard to make my car buying experience a great one. I had worked with the dealership customer service for a day or two before I drove all the way to Frederick to purchase my car. The only inconvenience I experienced was that my wait time to purchase was long and the monthly payments did not end up being what was quoted. I had tried to ensure that all loan paperwork was processed so that once I got there I could just pick the actual car, have the identification numbers and final cost plugged in and go; however, my fiance had to end up applying for car with me in the end and I did not get the 3.9% APR I was told I should get. If the loan application had been processed prior to my driving 75 miles to the dealership, I would have known ahead of time that my fiance would have to apply as co-owner and I would get only 5.5% APR. I chose Ideal Hyundai because the pricing and APR was better than my local Hyundai dealership; however, in the end it was not as big of a savings as I had calculated prior to making the long drive from Manassas, Virginia. In the future, especially for customers traveling a long distance, I think it would be helpful to actually RUN the loan applications and give the customer an "accurate" estimation of their interest rate and monthly payments so that the customer is not sitting in the dealership until after 9:00 PM trying to purchase a car that they technically DO NOT qualify for by themselves as told before making the drive. =/ Other than that, the staff was very nice, professional and helpful! The salesperson was excellent. James was very professional and courteous. He provided assistance and answered all questions prior to our purchase. The initial person in financing was not as professional. He was rude, condescending, and acted as if he was doing us a "favor" in processing the purchasing paperwork of the new vehicle. We were from out-of-state, and he had the audacity to state to my wife ""why did you bother coming here" in a demeaning tone when asked about service, warranties, and return policy on new vehicle. He even stated once we purchase, the vehicle there was no option for a return - which is a complete falsehood since state law mandates a three (3) day return policy. This was passed onto the sales person after some time for my spouse to regain composure. The financing person literally compromised the dealership in making a sale. As a result of this individual's attitude, our rating for the dealership is not as high as could have been achieved, since everyone else that we interacted with at the dealership was friendly and helpful. They were also very flexible. Honestly, I had a good experience but the main thing was the truck I was looking at and bought sold itself. I have had it about a week and I love it. It is in fatastic shape and for a great price. It was in a few minor accidents but the sales personnel were very straight forward and honest with me about it and were not trying to hide anything from me. More

This is my 2nd vehicle purchased at Ideal Buick in Frederick. . They worked with me on the purchase and had the best offer for my trade in (trying to stay within my budget). was out looking for a vehicle , happened to see a trade in that I liked stopped in , requested a lady that has tried hard to get my business was approached via different salesperson. we chatted pricing tha in that I liked stopped in , requested a lady that has tried hard to get my business was approached via different salesperson. we chatted pricing that nite company wanted more than I would pay which is fine, the sales man kept in touch txtn me I ended up making three trips to dealer to look at vehicle on Friday evening the price I saved that he txt me, disappeared and went back up sat morning. this employee said I was waisting time I also took half a day of time and a half off to come to dealer, this vehicle I was told would not pass md inspections which is fine as I have out of state driver lic I made offer he would not take to his superior and walked away. I felt whole time as there was another offer he was trying to get mine higher.now I myself get gm opt 1 pricing have purchased only 23 diff vehicles in last 20 years alone for myself or kids several duramax, and tahoes, new as well as a powerstroke and quite a few used vehicles mainly all from a dealer I trust in mich. there is no guarantee I would be abel to get vehicle yet being new to area working on railroad where many nice vehicles park and men talk each day this would have ben a classic show piece just for the advertisement alone how likely am I to recommend your dealership based off this experience. More
