The car was solid enough, but the sales manager, Bret, insisted that the tires had enough tred on them to pass inspection - maybe 3000 miles prior when they took on the car (see picture). When we looked back at the CarFax, IMPEX had put over 3000 miles on the car in the 5 months they had it; more than the previous owner was putting on it. IMPEX also clearly allowed their employees free access to the car - food crumbs and spills everywhere (allowed to eat and drink in their inventory?!), and so much sand and dirt that we could only see half the drivers floor mat. If it had not cleaned up well, we would have ended the deal immediately. Not sure if we will go back to IMPEX, because it was clear that the sales management team was more concerned with selling a car than selling a safe car. If we do, it will only be because of David. If you do, make sure to review the CarFax so you know how much their team has been enjoying your potential next ride. More
