I found a few local 996s for sale, one of them unfortunately being sold by Imports Ltd. I made the 25-minute drive and began searching for the slightly-overpriced silver convertible 911. I walked the outside lot, but didn't find it; I crossed the street and searched the other side of the lot, and still could not find it. I eventually realised where the showroom was, and where else would they keep it. In total i'd spent about 10-15 minutes wandering and checking out prices on the cars parked outside. Usually when you get within 50 feet of a dealership, sales guys are climbing over each other trying to give you their business cards. Not Imports Ltd. So, went inside to find the 911. A salesman was seated and attentively assisting a family. Another salesman eventually sauntered in. My friend asked about a restroom, leaving me to get details on the car... except the salesman pointed out the restroom and immediately disappeared. Okay...? After my friend returned, we circled the 911 for no fewer than ten minutes. Several people walked past us, yet no one on staff said a SINGLE WORD to either of us. If you are a salesman and this behaviour doesn't clearly say to you 'we're here to look at a car, possibly purchase', then you need to find a new profession. Eventually the salesman returned yet again and my friend asked 'do you have keys?' He patted his pockets and said 'i don't have keys.' The End. Not, 'hang on, let me find Kyle,' or 'one sec, i'm with a customer'. Just 'no'. So we left. What a tremendous waste of time. I imagine Imports Ltd. may be a front for some sort of illegal smuggling ring, or they may be a band of Russian circus performers in disguise. Maybe they are a front for the NSA, or a band of B-list actors researching movie roles. Whatever, the only thing I can tell you for a fact is that they are NOT a viable auto seller. The most pathetic, uninterested, lazy-xxx service I have ever seen in my entire life. How they make enough sales to stay afloat is a bona fide mystery; based on customer service and cleanliness, I assume they won't be there much longer. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place like the blackest of black plagues. The clear message is "we don't want you here, even if you have your checkbook in your pocket and are ready to buy TODAY." However, the next day while I was at work, they had over ten lenders run a credit check, none of which were the lender they said had approved me! Further, they told me I had to wait an additional day, even after putting down a SUBSTANTIAL down payment. When I expressed frustration , they informed me that it was my fsult, I should have come in pre-approved, and that my down payment was non-refundable. In fact, the salesperson, Chris snapped at me when I questioned it. Furthermore, neither he nor any other staff member would tell me the total loan amount they were looking into. More

Do not trust Doug. I seen a car online that I liked, called and spoke with Doug. Told him that I was from out of state and was interested in a car on the lot. He said he would have no problem getting m called and spoke with Doug. Told him that I was from out of state and was interested in a car on the lot. He said he would have no problem getting me financed and told me to fill out the online application, and to give him a call when complete. I called him about 20 mins after completing the app and had to leave a message cause he was busy. Never received a return call. About 1 hour later called him back and this time he did answer but did not remember talking to me and telling me to fill out the online app. After a little refresher he finally remembered me. He told me he would take a look at my app and call me back. Well he never did. I called back about 2 hours later and spoke with another sales person. I told him the situation and that I did not want doug to be my saleman. The gentleman took my name and number and said he would check into it and call me back. He called back about 5 mins later to inform me that they do not finance out of state applicants. Doug was well aware that I was from out of state. Not trustworthy people. More

The vehicle was clean but I must admit that most dealers can clean the car. I have had the car for two months and am very pleased. After one month I was contacted by Ben to ask about the car. I told him everything was fine. I liked Ben when I bought the car and would recommend anyone going to the dealership to ask for him. The only negative thing about the dealership is that I went to the Chippewa location however the car was at the Gravois location. This was only a minor inconvenience but I wanted to be honest. If you are looking for a nice looking car in a good price range that you can afford, go to Imports. You will be pleasantly surprised. More

My nephew recently purchased a vehicle from them and he was happy so I thought I would give them a shot. I did the normal BBB look up, A rated, that was surprising for a car dealer, but good. I went to their main location on Chippewa and I was shocked at the type of cars they had in stock for being a city used car dealer. The lot was clean, the cars looked good, I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by Al (a little goofy) and I had a fun time buying my A6 wagon. So far so good, check engine light came on one time, but that was because my husband didn't tighten the gas cap when he got gas....2 clicks. Give them a shot, Al makes it a very fun if not goofy time buying a car. More

My salesman Jim new Hondas as if he was working for a Honda dealer. The rest of the staff was very friendly which is a reflection on the type of business the owner wants run. The car was delivered clean as whistle and when they said it would be ready. We arrived when told to close the deal and the sales manager was ready for us without any wait. There is no wonder why I keep going back to Imports Limited. More

This was the most horrible car buying experience I have ever had ! They made us buy the car as is because they said it had modifications on it that weren't even on there. therefore they wouldn't let us buy ever had ! All they did was send us the paperwork stating AS IS. This was a $15,000 car ! i don't usually write reviews, but I think everyone should be warned before doing business with them ! Do yourself a favor and stay far far away ! More

I do not normally write reviews but this is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from Imports because my teenagers keep wrecking the cars. I will be back hopefully not to soon but definetly recommend Imports. More
