I payed $120 for an electronic diagnosis because I was having issues with the sliding door on my Honda Odyssey. I had already brought the vehicle in at the end of September because I questioned the integr having issues with the sliding door on my Honda Odyssey. I had already brought the vehicle in at the end of September because I questioned the integrity of the battery. I was told that the battery was in the acceptable range of percentage of whatever and was fine. This time I was given a $1500 quote for a bunch of stuff that had absolutely nothing to do with what was actually wrong. I left and took my vehicle to a different auto shop where they looked at the actual motor and power moduleAnd found that in multi prong plug had come loose and that the battery was leaking battery acid and was no good. Once the plug was plugged back in and the new battery was put in the vehicle a reset button was hit and everything was fine. I feel bamboozled for the amount of money I spent on a diagnosis that was dead wrong. And I also feel that if the battery has been taken out of the vehicle to be tested back in September you would’ve seen that it was leaking battery acid. Will never come back. More
