Date was around the end of October-beginning November of 2010. I was told by Mike, the salesperson over the phone that the dealership participated in the Subaru guaranteed buy-back program. I came in right after the dealership held some sort of get-together and all the sales people had suits on and there were tables set up with snacks and refreshments. Upon arriving there I was greeted with condescending looks and snub faces. After showing Mike and another sales person the form I printed out from Subaru regarding the trade-in, they scoffed at me and said there is no way they could match the price. They didn't even try to work with me to get my business, like they didn't want it. Funny thing was, I went to Grand Subaru right afterwards and they took the trade-in value no questions asked because that is what Subaru was offering.

We have communicated to better understand and resolve the unpleasant situation. The visit was October of 2010 while our dealership was having our annual Customer Dinner Event. This is for past customers and new car sales are not permitted for this evening. We regret that this person did not feel welcome or treated properly. International Subaru has the highest Customer Satisfaction Index of all the Subaru dealers in the Chicagoland area. We are very proud of this distinction and are committed to treating everyone professionally.
